2012 has been such an enjoyable hooky year for sure. I had the pleasure of working on a Big Project (my ripple blanket) for much of the year, but interspersing it with many small, decorative projects kept my creativity alive and kicking.
Thank you as always for all your hooky love throughout 2012. I've LOVED seeing so much gorgeous crochet happening all over the world, the sharing and inspiring that happens through the www is absolutely amazing. There are currently three Flickr Groups for Attic24 inspired crochet ::
Attic24 Inspired, Attic24 Granny Stripes, and Attic24/Little Tin Bird Ripple-along.
Also, in case you didn't already know, there is an inspiring and thriving Attic24 group on Ravelry, with over 6000 members. There have been some fantastic discussions and sharing of projects on there this year, it's an absolute gem of inspiration and information.
And lastly, at the beginning of December, I finally took the plunge and created an Attic24 Facebook page. It's lots of fun keeping in touch with you all....here's to a wonderful and woolly 2013!

I love this post. So inspiring in so many ways. I have three small boys (5, 3 & 1) and find it so hard to fit in crafty pursuits with so much else happening. I love how your ripple took about a year to make (which seems doable to me) and fit in so many small and fulfilling projects in between to keep you motivated. What a wonderful array of projects in one year.

May your family be blessed this New Year Lucy. I am so excited about your new things - Facebook page, and the Yarndale event in September 2013. Definitely be making my way up the motorway for that event! Here in Somerset, I am planning a few more of my own crochet creations and hopefully finish a few ongoing projects. Love following you, it is such a delight. Janette

Hi Lucy, Can you include sometime soon on your blog the instructions for the August heart project which you made as a gift for a friend. Keep up the great work - I enjoy all the bits and pieces which you include in your updates - I really do love the "tourist" info. aspect as well - keep those beautiful photos coming.

Although I am much more a fan of your floral
displays, I admire your enthusiasm for your handiwork. Most of us are too modest by far.
So lovely to see the piggies looking happy and bright-eyed on your facebook page :)
When hubby is on night time emergencies and i find my internal clock disrupted, it's a blessing to have a sweet place such as this this to visit. Your blog is a very good read as well as a visual treat!

Ya! a color fix! You have been busy this year. I have not finished one project I started :( oh well just keep swimming lol.

Your colors are so fabulous!
I find myself wanting to do similar projects and then I grumble to myself that my colors will never stand up to yours hahaha I like softer colors for my home and earthy tones but Im so drawn to your colorful crochet that it leaves me torn...should I give a rainbow "something" a try? Or just do it in my own color pallet. Decisions, decisions ;)
Very great post as always.

Lucy - you are spoiling us with this year-end stuff.
I can't bear it if I have no flowers and currently have pink hyacinths blooming in my sewing room - otherwise referred to as the 'room-of-doom'!!
Daffodils will be here soon :)
