2012 has been such an enjoyable hooky year for sure. I had the pleasure of working on a Big Project (my ripple blanket) for much of the year, but interspersing it with many small, decorative projects kept my creativity alive and kicking.
Thank you as always for all your hooky love throughout 2012. I've LOVED seeing so much gorgeous crochet happening all over the world, the sharing and inspiring that happens through the www is absolutely amazing. There are currently three Flickr Groups for Attic24 inspired crochet ::
Attic24 Inspired, Attic24 Granny Stripes, and Attic24/Little Tin Bird Ripple-along.
Also, in case you didn't already know, there is an inspiring and thriving Attic24 group on Ravelry, with over 6000 members. There have been some fantastic discussions and sharing of projects on there this year, it's an absolute gem of inspiration and information.
And lastly, at the beginning of December, I finally took the plunge and created an Attic24 Facebook page. It's lots of fun keeping in touch with you all....here's to a wonderful and woolly 2013!

I'm a novice at crochet and self-taught. My 4 year old granddaughter wants me to make her a blanket that is round and rainbow colored. I was really excited to find your patterns!! My problem is that I need a printer friendly copy of the pattern to take with me. I also need instructions to make sure I am making the correct stitches for enlarging. Can you tell me where I can find these?
BEST WEBSITE I HAVE FOUND YET!!!!!

You have such wonderful sense of color and design. Have you every thought of working with the various yarn companies of your creations to put out kits for us crochet-able but color senseless legions?!!!!

Hiya Lucy :)
It's lovely to see all the Crochet you've been doing (was going to say this year) last year, admittedly this is the end-of-year-review I'd most been looking forward too!
Somehow I missed the heart / flower you made for a friend but it's adorable, my mum in particular would absolutely love it!
Thanks again for sharing all your projects, patterns and inspiration. Someone on the Ravelry group said they normally hate January & February but you've added lots of colour to their life so they're doing ok so far this year! I feel the same, I've so many things I want to make I'm actually looking forward to this year, whaaaat?!
All the best :)

A beautiful, colorful, and creative year!

It's the colour that jumps out more than anything else. I like the balance of one big project and lots of wee ones, it's the way to do it I think. xx

I meant 'get one', not 'get on' as in 'get on with it!'. Ha ha. Sorry.

You need a book deal. You really should get on. Not just for the beautiful projects but the sunny outlook on life too. That's why I come to your blog, for the optimistic (yet realistic) look on the beautiful bright side. Thanks.
