Hi Lucy, this lovely hat is such a brilliant idea with winter coming soon, I couldn't resist making one myself. Despite the totally different colours it still has written Lucy allover it. Come over to my site and check it out!
Love your ideas and blog...wish to give the same feeling back to all who is coming by....
See you soon!

Thank you Lucy for such a comprehensive tutorial. I will definitely be doing some of these flowers! Have you or any fellow crocheters out there done any Tapestry Crochet? I am looking into it, as it appears to make quite a firm fabric. There is a lady called Irene Lundguaard who is quite skilled at it. Wild, wet and windy here in Taunton today. J

darling lucy, your hat and you, beautiful and so charming.

Lucy you make everything look so easy and so professional!!! Thanks to you I've started on this hooky obsession and I can't wait to have the confidence like yourself to just give something a go. The more I do and understand, the easier it all gets and with inspiration from you I'm sure it won't be long!!

Thank you so much for your wonderful blog, keep posting

I am making my second Lucy hat. The first one was black with sparkly bits per my friends request. Wider brim. No flower. My second one is screaming lime green with green flowers and leaves on a removable band per my friends request.. My hat is next. It will be wild red with a band and ever color flower I can get on it. I want a band that looks like spring in the dead of winter. Love the hat. It's a big hit with the girls in South Carolina USA. Thanks.

Lucy - I have just made the hat following your instructions and it is HUGE ?? Is it definitely 8 rounds of uk trebles for the flat circle ??? Admittedly I do have a small head but it's sooooo big ?? Maybe I haven t read it right ??
