About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Checking your blog is like knocking at your front door but you are never home

Hi Lucy!

I'm a happy crocheter, and a very happy new reader of your blog! I have practically been inhaling your texts, lovely photos and creative projects for a couple of weeks now. I particularly enjoy the crochet parts (the colours!) and now I'm busy making my first ripple blanket for my baby (due in two months).

Just wanted to say hello, and to let you know you have a new Swedish reader now!

Best wishes!

I didn't realize you weren't on Ravelry anymore.....I found a Connievan pattern and thought of you. It's here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/caravan-application

Have a nice time out with your family!

I check this blog everyday, so sad your not back yet, but keeping up a blog must be really hard work, especially when you've got little ones as well.
Hope you're keeping well physically and emotionally. Life can be really hard sometimes... hope you have lots of love and positivity around you. Take care of yourself, Best wishes. X

Enjoy your time out!

I love to look and read your blog. You picture are so vivid and your writing is so discriptive and wonderful to read. I love your color combonations, just beautiful. I have a suggestion for you, I am a crocheter along with several other crafts and I also swedish weave. I think with your creativity you would love to do this very old craft. You can find some free patterns online and some completed work to see if you are interested. Much easier on the eyes and hands as I am much older than you, but different and beautiful at the same time. Wishing you a good rest and waiting to hear about the next adventure.

It will be well worth the wait. Priorities first.

Oh my! I miss you so much! Looking foward to see ypu soon from Spain!!! :)

Hi Lucy, You'll probably need more time out when you have sorted out the kids going back to school etc. Take care of yourself too. Bye for now, Val x

You're blog got another reader on the hook! Spent the past few days reading through all your crochet posts, finding myself getting more new idras than ever before. Just made a little crochet bird, and even though I didn't have a pattern it turned out lovely. Thanks for the inspiration! Cheers from Sweden.
