About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

I love your Ripple Blankets! Do you use wool, or acrylic yarn? I've done one of both, and can't make up my mind!

ebjoying you always cheering me up!

Love it when you post!

Love your ripple colors. I'm still not happy with mine really but we are hookin along at any rate. Ooooo exciting to ponder your potentially knitted secrets! Thanks for your bloggy friendship. xo

Lucy, I am still reading all the Archives and I must say I am enjoying all the posts. I also have printed out all the crochet patterns and will be crocheting them. Once again, the pictures, patterns, the way you express yourself are all so wonderful and for sure you have inspired me. Thanks.

Oooo sounds interesting Lucy all that secret stuff! I know how you feel about the holidays.....I CAN'T WAIT for Friday to arrive, I shall skip home from work kick off my shoes and RELAX!

Can't wait to see your finished ripple blanket! Plus the wonderful edging you have in mind! Great pictures as always.

Ooo what a tease! Can't wait!!!

milles mercis

Oh I love your colourful photos Lucy! Looking forward to see the Ta-dah post on the ripple. I wish you a lovely holiday with your folks! I'm by the sea myself now, so I am going to bring my ripple out into the sunlight and do some sunny hooky. Have to enjoy the sun when it's there.

Do your children go to school year-round? It seems funny....in the states, here in Ohio they have been out since the first week of June. I love the picture of you with your ripple on your lap....Couldn't do that here right now....been in the 90's and very humid!! Tired of watering all the time and trying to keep plants alive...your flowers are beautiful!!!

So pleased for you in nearly completing your ripple blanket! I love the photo of the tree bark - makes me think what a wonderful design for a big winter cardi it would make!
