I cannot thank you enough for posting the link to order this magazine. I have looked everywhere for it and have had no luck in the US. I love that you are featured in it, YAY!!! Your creations are so lovely and your use of color is amazing!

Hello Lucy,
Here a message from the Netherlands. I love the pattern of the blooming flower cushion very much. I already made one of it and it's very lovely. I was wondering if it is allowed to translate the pattern into dutch.
Yours sincerely,

What a wonderful interview and looking at all your brilliant creations reminded me why it was your blog that inspired me to learn to crochet just a couple of years ago.
I hope I can find a copy of Simply Crochet tomorrow.

Congratulations Lucy, a big hug from southern Spain.

What a fantastic post...thank you for brightening up my day~!

Wow, what a lovely blog! So many amazing things to make, they all look lovely! I've just had a pinterest frenzy!! Love the layout of the granny square blanket, and the flowery shawl is beautiful!! I want to get home and get crocheting right now...

I knew it...it's so funny because as you were talking about picking up a new crochet magazine and how you usually don't care for their projects (me too!) I thought to myself...now if Lucy was in the magazine I would buy it! I almost feel off my chair! There you were and so calm about it! I would have been screaming and jumping up and down!
You so deserve that! I'm trying to get a hold of a copy. Congratulations! If crochet mags would have more colorful and exciting projects like you have....they have more subscriptions AND more people wanting to crochet! I. m so happy for you!!!!!

Congrats on being in the magazine! It's so lovely to see your lovely projects one after another in between the questions. Oh and please please please write a book on crochet!!

Ooh! Start working on that book now! I would love to buy a copy! Your designs are always pure happiness!
Congrats on being published.

Your blog makes me happy. I thought about it for a while and that's it. Really. I instantly feel happier when I see your lovely cheerful hooky projects. Even when our baby (my 4th child) is
n o t sleeping at all - and I feel like a zombie, whenever I get a little break from the allergic, yelling baby - I come here and take a look at what you've been up to and I feel a bit better. Thank you for that!

Hello, I've been looking at your blog for a little while now, after stumbling over it when looking for something completely unrelated. I've never read blogs before, but your colours and creativeness drew me in. Since reading, I have gone from not crocheting At All, to now having a completed ripple blanket (5 weeks in the making - was quite obsessively crocheting!!)and a very-nearly finished small squares cushion cover. I also have several pots of beautiful flowers in front of my house, and a slightly chubbier husband thanks to your super tasty and easy cookie ideas! (the oaty ones are also good if you add some dessicated coconut - mmm! I'm thinking coconut and cherries for next time...)
Well, I've never commented before, but I just saw these lovely lamp-glass beads on ebay which are shaped as little house with flowers growing up the fronts, so I thought of you - like giving a very small bit back :o)

Hi Lucy, lovely to hear more about you and how your love for crochet began. It certainly is inspiring for a beginner looking at your projects and wondering if it is possible to be that good!

It is because of you and your beaUTIFUL PHOTOS that I, too, am a hooky addict. I love reading about your daily life with those 3 kiddies of yours and how you find time for your creative outlet as well. You are incredibly inspiring. I am making a Granny Square afghan that I can't waIT TO GET AT IN ANY SPARE moment I have, and it's because of you. I check several times a day to see if you have updated your post and I am eagerly awaiting your next.

Congrats on the magazine article, just bought a copy, fab!

Just wondered, have you ever made or thought about making a granny square incorporating the teeny crochet hearts? I've got a bit of a hearts theme going on in my house, and this would be amazing!

Well done Lucy! You should be deservedly proud. I have no doubt you will write a book (I think several) I even foresee an Attic 24 brand of craft goods. You have inspired a small group of us Philadelphia girls to meet and have a craft night in our cafeteria after work. Blessings to you and yours and as always THANK YOU for inspiring crafty girls around the world.
