Lucy these roses are lovely. I recently got a free rose pattern from 'Molly makes' and could I work it out...NO I could not! Thank you so much for your lovely blog, I've been through a tough time to say the least in the last 6 months and reading you lovely posts and trying some of your projects have reminded me that life goes on! Thank you so much xx

Lovely lovely project, thank you so much for a great tute & ace blog in general!

Hi Lucy,

Your flower are lovely and so easy to do. I will be making lot of them from now on, as you can use them in so many ways.
Thank for sharing

Thank you, Thank you,Thank you...

So pretty! Inspires me to get out my needle and try, try, try AGAIN to figure the whole crochet conundrum out!

Thank you! You talented woman you! You're like Wonder Woman with a crochet hook! LOL! Those roses are so sweet and I had just put on my list this morning that I needed to find a small project that would give me some immediate gratification as I've been crocheting a basket and a ripple and it's awhile before you get a finished product. I finished the basket last night except for the edging and handles and of course the ripple is coming along but has a ways to go yet so these little flowers will be perfect! I also made your little flowers and hung them on branches on my mantel just like you did and I love them! They give me so many smiles when I gaze upon them and reflected in the mirror makes it look like there are so many more! LOL! I'm making another lemon cake today as I love that too and I just received my Homespun Style book that I am being so inpired by. Thank you for all you do....you are my biggest inspiration!

I can't believe how incredibly talented you are and how you share your wonderful talent for free!! As above - you should write a book !!!

You are so completely talented - please write a book :) Thankyou again for an amazing pattern.

I LOVE your roses!!!! Thanks for the tutorial!

Hi Lucy,
I love your blog so much. I want you to come to the US and decorate my home! I have a handful of buttons with little posies printed all over them and they remind me of you and your blog every time I look at them. I'd love to send them to you. If you send me your mailing address, I will do just that! You can email me at [email protected]

Thanks so much for sharing your amazing creativity so generously.
Warmest regards,
Lincoln, RI

You are so good to us Lucy! I have found lots of rose and flowers patterns, but always get stuck! This one looks nice and simple and so neat! I am definitely going to be hooked on these - and like you say, perfect for a bit of "waiting for the pre-school to open it's doors" hooky goodness. Thank you! I'm off to print out my pattern and buy you a coffee. xx

Beautiful! Looks very straightforward, so am looking forward to the instructions appearing soon. Don't tease us now... :-)

I'm sure you get many awards but I’ve been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award and I am now supposed to pass it on the fifteen other people. Well fifteen is more than I can manage, I think, but I want to pass it on to you because I think your blog is great! You can see your entry here: http://rainbowjunkiecorner.wordpress.com/2012/05/05/versatile-blogger-award/

Lucy, I think it must be from reading your blog that I had a dream that I taught myself how to crochet. I had wools in rainbow colours, and with each additional colour I was able to do more complex stitches! I should try to make that dream come to life now. Thank you for your creative and positive take on life, and for sharing it with us.

Thank you for posting the instructions for your little roses. I have made a number of them before, but my backs were never as neat as yours. Now I know how to do it just right!

Blessings ~ Eileen @ Stars Fault

Lovely little roses Lucy am going to have a go at them as soon as I've finished the twenty other projects I'm just having a go at!!!

Very sweet, I've seen loads of roses all over blog world on tea cosies and blankets and always love how they look or finish off a project.
