Hello!

About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

You are such an inspiration!
I've just finished my first wreath - inspired by you, of course...all in pretty pastels with lots of flowers...not as covered with them as yours...but the next one may be...
Since I'm still learning - and this has been a real learning experience for me - I expect the next one will really POP!
I don't have a blog or website....maybe I'll post it on Facebook to share with a few folks...I do like it and I am so grateful to you for sharing your wonderful talent. I feel like I'm visiting with you when I read your blog..so fun! and since I've never been to GB - and likely never will be - your chats have made me feel like I have been there...
and would LOVE to sit by your fire and chat with you.

Blessings to you and your family. Thank you so much for sharing so freely with us!

Hi, I am the coordinator for Flowers 4 the Children out of Washington, Dc. On DC 12 2013 the Newton Foundation is hosting a anti-violence vigil at the National Cathedral. The /flowers project would like to use your idea even thought it is a free pattern to decorate the vigil at the Cathedral. We will be attaching the names of youth murdered in the District to the flowers. We will also facilitate a yarn bomb in support of the vigil. You can see more about us @ www.facebook.com/flowers4thechildren. Please like the page. I can be contacted for more information @ [email protected].

Thank for such a beautiful piece of art work. I hope you will like are variation on your work.

Hi Lucy :) You wreaths are the inspiration for the wreath I have on my blog today. Feel free to pop over and take a peek.

Scoutster

That is absolutely beautiful. I love that the stripey ring and the horseshoe of flowers are both stunning on their own but put them together and BANG! They are amazing <3

I don't blog. Seldom....like maybe twice in my life has anything moved me enough to comment about a blog...this I believe being the second time. I am an Artist...watercolor paint...and an avid lover of all textiles. I have been crocheting since I was five. I learned how to knit too but never really loved it. Your crocheting just displays so much color and character and love...your home looks so cozy and wonderful. I am totally inspired to make good use of the massive amounts of yarn I have collected and create some adorable seasonal wreathes for my home. Thank you for sharing your heart.
