That is so cool! Really truly cool. I am so excited to start my new crochet life. I've been a knitter, but I think I just might crochet my way through your blog.

I absolutely LOVE your bunting.. amazing! I want to make some...

Lucy, this is great, and I am going to make another kind of thingee with this process. But I wanted to tell you that I thought it was HILARIOUS that in one of the photos the letters you chose to photograph were "F" and "U".

Gave me a good laugh today.

Fabulous!

Oh Lucy
This is just wonderful. I now want to add felt shapes to some bunting. Thanks for the inspiration.

I'm in the process of making this bunting for my Grand-daughter, she's having fun picking out the colors. We found some chili pepper buttons that will hang from the ends, with red buttons to match. She loves red chili peppers! TY again for the pattern.

Truly adorable, and as always super photography!

I only recently discovered your blog and was instantly addicted! I love the colors you work with. It has certainly all been very inspiring! I am currently working on your easy pattern for the pennants. My idea is to make the entire alphabet with duplicate vowels, not attach them together and be able to spell out different messages...ie, Happy Birthday, Happy Easter, Happy Mother's Day...you get the idea. I have a way to go as I have only 14 pennants so far but I am on my way! Thank you so much for the inspiration and your blog, it is lovely!

her name is recyclingartistemily, and while i like your aesthetic and experience is much better than hers, the applique on crochet idea really is worth playing around with.

jeannette

fun and joy indeed, thank you so much.
i am thinking about applique on crochet -- an interesting concept. there's a girl on the rag rug flickr group who appliques her crocheted rugs. INteresting! will get you the url.

Jill

you are the most clever crocheter ever!!!

Debbie

You make me so happy. This ta-dah was my FAVORITE! Your enthusiasm and yes. "fun and joy" came ringing thru in your ta-dah post. LOVE that you share so much with us! Happy New Year!

Valentina

Wow Lucy your bunting is really beautiful!!!
I'd love the idea you can make so many of them, not just for Christmas but also as a welcome or for birthdays! Just another clever idea of yours, congratulations!!!!!

Kristen

That's absolutely perfect! So much to love about this, not the least of which is your sweet Little Man's contribution. Awesome. That's Christmas, right there, fun and joy. I have to set to making this one myself. As always, thank you very very much for providing your pattern. :)

Netty

I love it!! So happy and colourful again! Will definitely make some. Thank you for sharing!

Christie, Describe Happy

Really fantastic to see you go through the steps and slowly see the colorful and happy bunting emerge!! Your mantel was just beautiful and what a delightful your son too!!

nzcynth

Once again, another marvellous piece of creation, I love it!! want to make it now!!

KayElleC

it is what it says....'FUN AND' a 'JOY' to behold. What a very clever Little Man to choose such perfect words....and they go with 'LOVE' too. And it has brightened my day in my now dec-less house. :(

Needless to say the creative juices are flowing...why do you do this to us? I'd have to live to 100 to get all the things done that are inspired by you!

Thanks Luce, you are a star (again!) xx

caroline

I thought I'd had enough of Christmas, but your bunting is gorgeous. The colour combinations are perfect. If I start some now, maybe I'll have it finsihed by Christmas! BTW, I just got my Sarah Raven catalogue through the post this morning - really inspiring and a fabulous dose of spring colour.

Vanessa Urias

I really do adore this! Where did you order your bells and yarn?

Janet

I am in love with this bunting! Thank you so much for sharing this pattern with us!

melinda

Reneelynn

It's beautiful!! You did a great job on it. I hope it brings you many years of happiness.

Tricia

Oh this is so adorable! I wish I had seen this before the holidays. Maybe I'll make one for next year!
