Sounds like a wonderful Sunday full of the important things in life. I am jealous of the spring-like daffodils, though. Here in Ottawa, Canada, it is a very cold Monday, -22 C with a windchill making it feel like -30 C. But the Rideau Canal just opened for the skating season yesterday! ;-)

Lara

Ah, great pics.

I have that cushion but in red. I got it from BHS about a year ago.

domesticlou

Aww hope the little chap improves, we've all been poorly at Rotten Towers too. I've tatted very similar to your garland, but a crochet version I think would be more versatile - lovely!

Rachael Iddon

Resistance was futile. I did end up checking out pinterest. I still haven't quite figured out how it works though....

Clair

Sounds like just the loveliest Sunday. Can't wait to check out your boards...pinterest is THE best!

Joyce Stewart

Lovely photos as usual....hmmm...Pinterest...just so addictive....my handle is quill-drill.

Nanita

Ahh what a lovely day of gentle activity! I'm having one myself today, my ripple awaits with a cup of coffee... only I've just realised that I've been joyfully rippling away without weaving in one single yarn end! What was it that I promised myself after finishing my granny stripe? Weaving the ends in Right Away? Ah well... ;-) xxxx

Good booked for our Carrievan at Bridport in June ,Lucy. Your lovely photos and words sold it to us 10 times over!

What a lovely day!! And how did you know I'd be wondering about that owl cushion?? I am really into owls at the moment (isn't everyone!)

traci anderson

I just love your photography... and your last pic just made me sooooo hungry!!!! x

Rachael Iddon

It looks lovely. These frosty days are so beautiful aren't they. I hope your little B is feeling less under the weather soon.
Must be something about our boys, when your little man was sick before Christmas, my babykins had a nasty bug and now he seems to be having major tummy troubles.
Bring on the spring, warmer weather and fewer sick days.
I daren't even look on Pinterest, I spend far too much time online as it is.

Dear Lucy,
I love to read your little notes 'edit to add', they always make me smile...... But I was still curious about those garlic and rosemary veggies........ Sounds good

beberouge

Thanks for all those wonderful edits I'm off to go browse that shop now and what a lovley day hope little B feels better soon xx

Annie

Sounds like bliss, and i love the view from the attic. I'm going to try some banana bread

Kirsten

I'll be sure to follow you on pinterest because you always have lovely pictures filled with inspiration :) Hope I can pick up some of your creative vibe. I'm Sheolin on Pinterest.

Kate

We have that owl, it's in my little girl's bed. Gorgeous!!

I'm totally addicted to Pinterest. There is some fantastic crochet and crafts on there. If you like owls there is some amazing crocheted owl bunting on there (although the pattern might be on Rav) that one day when I have the time I will make!

Going to find you on Pinterest too!

Karen

I make that banana bread recipe all the time - it's the best!

Seaweedandraine

Fresh daffodils - could anything be more refreshing on cold wintery days? And Ooooh! Is that edging I see? Perhaps? I think Mr. Hoot Owl is rather fabulous, and now that I've seen what you have been up to in the kitchen I think I'm a bit peckish again... :)
Hope the little guy feels better soon!

Uh-oh, you've been hit by the 'Pin' bug too huh! Hopelessly addictive and a terrible time-tucker, but a great source for idea's and recipes etc!!!!ha! I will be over to 'follow' you soon!!! Ali x

Christine

What a perfect day, thanks for the link to the banana bread recipe, I'm going to give that a try

Adaliza

I love days like you describe. I spent Saturday quilting and my Rose quilt is over at Pinterest - fun isn't it - I started a few months ago. Enjoy the week - only 4 till half term!

Susanne Tyree

Pinterest is the absolute mind-boggling most addictive site ever. The bug bit me several months ago and be warned, once bitten you become enchanted, so much so that you can spend hours looking and pinning and swear it was just a few minutes. Life will never be the same once it gets hold of ya.
Susanne :)

tinajo

So nice - and I love daffodils! :-)
