About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Tuna and flowers, with beads and cotton?? I am truly lost for words, but, on the edge of my seat with hooky anticipation!!!

The yarn looks delicious! Mixed with tuna? Well I'll have to wait and see what you're up to ;) xx

Tuna? Lucy I sincerely hope that the tuna won't be hanging around our necks. ;)

I had to reread to check I'd got that right! A pretty crochet holder for a tin of cat food maybe?

Tuna and crochet sounds so very, very wrong. Bet it doesn't turn out so wrong though XD

Liking that you're older than me and still say 'bestest' :-)

I've been reading your blog for many years now and you have not yet created something that didn't give me a case of 'wanties' I'll be watching to see what this delight will be. xx

Thank you for answering my question about the type of yarn :) I taught myself to crochet a long time ago and have been inspired by your wonderful creations to pick it up again!

I am intrigued. Flowers to cover the smell of tuna???

Hi Lucy,
Can't wait to find out what your making... very intriguing..!
I read every post of your blog but just don't get around to commenting enough.

Lucy, I can't wait to see what you're "cooking up" with that can and all those jimcracks and joojaws. I'll take a guess though.. my Mom used an empty tuna can and fabric to make my sister and I little drawstring purses to go with our Easter dresses when I was about 4 years old. What's amazing is that I remember that!! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
