About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Poor Little Man - I hope the doctor was helpful? I also hope that a good dose of Christmas spirit and some presents (and lots of lying on the settee!) help get him back to normal soon. Love your crisp winter photos - the park looks wonderful and your walk to the party sounds delightful! Have a lovely Christmas x

I hope Little Man is feeling much better soon. With Christmas so close, I am hoping your whole family is well.

We enjoyed the lovely weather on Sunday too, but we have snow here around Derbyshire so there are some lovely snowy scenes on my blog this week :)

Hi Lucy from a very hot South Africa!!! Sorry to hear Little Man is no better :-( I really really hope he improves before the BIG day!!! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy (and hooky) New Year ....! x

VintageVicki

Hope Little Man is feeling better soon - he sounds like my youngest who used to get so run down just before christmas. Rest and feeding up with easy to manage foods seemed to help.

Wishing you & all @ No24 a very merry christmas and a happy new year xx

One-oh-four

Poor Little Man, we too have all had rotten viruses that have dragged on and on...we need some cold weather to kill off all these nasty germs. At least the blankets are getting some serious use. Hope you all have a lovely restful Christmas xx

Linda

Sorry that Little Man is still poorly. Hope the Doc can do something.

The fire does look so lovely.

Rachel

So beautiful as always!!! Happy Christmas to your and your family
xx

Lucy, I always enjoy your posts! Praying Little B feels better soon...I know your Momma-heart aches when he's feeling poorly. Merry Christmas to all in Attic24!

Nadine

Lucy, I am new to reading your blog and I absolutely love it. I am so inspired by you and your warm, cozy, crafty life. Looking back at the archives, I don't see a tutorial for your beautiful circles scarf. Is it possible to get this?

xoxo Nadine

I always enjoy reading your blog Lucy. Your sense of colour is amazing and inspires me to hook away. Thankyou for your terrific tutorials, they have actually inspired another new crocheter in recent times who is now happily hooking her way to a baby blanket for her second baby due early next year. Best wishes for a happy Christmas and a healthy and happy 2012.

Tara

he probably won't like it, but make sure he is getting a TON of fresh green things!! And the blender is your best friend for mixing them with other things to make more palatable. Hope he feels better!

Saritha

Hope your little one gets better soon and wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas!!

Katie

Poor wee man - hope he's feeling better soon and before the big day on Sunday. Love your wintery walk pictures...as I face another summery Christmas here in New Zealand I can't help but miss the prospect of a snowy Christmas and everything that comes with it. I'm sure if I was there though I'd be whinging about the cold though! :-)

alexa
