About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Poor Little Man - I hope the doctor was helpful? I also hope that a good dose of Christmas spirit and some presents (and lots of lying on the settee!) help get him back to normal soon. Love your crisp winter photos - the park looks wonderful and your walk to the party sounds delightful! Have a lovely Christmas x

Hi, Lucy, I am bj from Sweet Nothings and I LOVE your sweet blog. So glad to have found you thru Free Pretty Things.
I looked for a FOLLOW ME but couldn't find one.:(

I hope Little Man is feeling much better soon. With Christmas so close, I am hoping your whole family is well.

Come see me soon...I am a great-grandmother and....

I do hope little man is feeling better by the weekend :(

We enjoyed the lovely weather on Sunday too, but we have snow here around Derbyshire so there are some lovely snowy scenes on my blog this week :)

best wishes to you and your family for the festive season and the shiny new year.
love your blog - thanks so much for sharing your crafty endeavours ... so inspiring :)

Hi Lucy from a very hot South Africa!!! Sorry to hear Little Man is no better :-( I really really hope he improves before the BIG day!!! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy (and hooky) New Year ....! x

Hope Little Man is feeling better soon - he sounds like my youngest who used to get so run down just before christmas. Rest and feeding up with easy to manage foods seemed to help.

Wishing you & all @ No24 a very merry christmas and a happy new year xx

Poor Little Man, we too have all had rotten viruses that have dragged on and on...we need some cold weather to kill off all these nasty germs. At least the blankets are getting some serious use. Hope you all have a lovely restful Christmas xx

Sorry that Little Man is still poorly. Hope the Doc can do something.

The fire does look so lovely.

So beautiful as always!!! Happy Christmas to your and your family

All my best thoughts for Little Man!
I wish him to be well on Christmas Day!

I wish you and your family a very merry and happy Christmas. May the sun shine on you in 2012. Jewel (join the flower swap on The Flower Bed).

Poor boy! I hope he feels better soon ~ there are so many germs around at this time of year. I hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and that Santa is good to you all! :O)xx

Lucy, I always enjoy your posts! Praying Little B feels better soon...I know your Momma-heart aches when he's feeling poorly. Merry Christmas to all in Attic24!

Lucy, I am new to reading your blog and I absolutely love it. I am so inspired by you and your warm, cozy, crafty life. Looking back at the archives, I don't see a tutorial for your beautiful circles scarf. Is it possible to get this?

I always enjoy reading your blog Lucy. Your sense of colour is amazing and inspires me to hook away. Thankyou for your terrific tutorials, they have actually inspired another new crocheter in recent times who is now happily hooking her way to a baby blanket for her second baby due early next year. Best wishes for a happy Christmas and a healthy and happy 2012.

he probably won't like it, but make sure he is getting a TON of fresh green things!! And the blender is your best friend for mixing them with other things to make more palatable. Hope he feels better!

Hope your little one gets better soon and wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas!!

Poor wee man - hope he's feeling better soon and before the big day on Sunday. Love your wintery walk pictures...as I face another summery Christmas here in New Zealand I can't help but miss the prospect of a snowy Christmas and everything that comes with it. I'm sure if I was there though I'd be whinging about the cold though! :-)

Beautiful post, every time I come to visit your blog, I find beautiful post about your creativity, your love for colors and life, thanks for sharing

I linked one of your tutorials, Holly Leaves, hope its ok.

Lucy, I hope Little Man gets better soon. That is a long time to be under the weather. Wishing you and your family the happiest of the season.

Aw, sending healing thoughts...

Your children are going to have such memories, Lucy! Of quality time spent with Mom, in the fresh air, walking around town. I hope your little fellow will be better soon.
