WOW. What a year.

Not a hugely different year to last, in fact the months seem to look remarkably similar don't they? I like the sameyness of these years, I find it comforting and reassuring to acknowledge the repetitive rhythm of my life. Despite the odd drama, I've been blessed with a huge amount of security, stability, love, happiness and joy this year. I am deeply grateful for this and I hope this gratitude comes across as I document my life's rather ordinary, domestic journey.

I've written 108 posts this year, and after almost four years of blogging I continue to be completely thrilled with it all. I adore creating this catalogue of memories, thoughts and ideas, it's become such a valuable, rewarding and creative part of my life.

Thank you as always for continuing to visit me in the Attic, for taking time to write, for egging me on with all that I do. I appreciate your company so very much. I know that 2012 is going to be great, and I for one cannot wait for it to begin tomorrow.

I've just bought you a coffee - and, if you were to take the medium sized option you may have enough left over to purchase one of those coffee shop wafer biscuits that sticks to the roof of your mouth!

Just a quick note to say thanks for your blog - not only did you once inspire my bf Jane (off of the teawaggon) to crochet, but she has since taught me as a gift for my 40th and I have since taught my little sister (the basics).

This Christmas hols I have committed to getting
to grips with more than just the basics and popped back over to yours to make me a little something. My creation (with nod to you) is on my
current blog post - I'm fairly sure you'll approve.
