About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. Hi Lucy I finally finished my hexagon blanket, if you're interested I've posted pics on my blog http://fizzical-attraction.blogspot.com/ and have given you the credit.
Thanks again for your help

Could you possibly tell us how you do the blanket? I see the way you've spaced the colors but I have no idea beyond that! Thanks!

Rachael

Fab post!!

Olga

Very beautiful, lovely, very mild and sweet. Thank you.

P.S. Sorry for my English, if it wrong.

Beautiful! Lovely! As always :)

Lovely to watch your current 'blankie' growing - in fact 'blooming' into another inspirational project. Your 'soul' colours and chosen colours appear in many of your out-of-doors photos, too. Please tell me how you care for your blankets, to refresh them now and then after so many huggy, cuddly, sessions by your Little Peeps. I have a couple of cotton crochet table cloths and fold them into a pillow-case before laundering, but I guess that wouldn't work for your beautiful, much loved, blankets.

How lovely.
Make every moment special with your little ones, my baby is off travelling in January. OK so he will be 25 and a half and he's going with his beautiful girlfriend but the fact is I wont be there to take care of them.
We will be joining them for a couple of weeks during their 18 month trip as will beautiful girlfriends family. I will miss them so much xxx

What a beautiful Autumn day! I love seeing glimpses of your world. Here in Texas, it's still quite hot for October but we are enjoying cooler temperatures!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your ripple blanket and would like to re-create your striping sequence. I was wondering if you would please share your striping sequence with all of us here in Blogland? I'm not sure if you're doing one, two or three rows between your stripes and if you're working in the back loop on some of them.

Thank you so much for everything you share with all of us!

Taylor

Thank you for the reminder! It lifted my spirits as well!

Claudia

Now,I know why your hooky works always making good mood to me. They are like a rainbow. Now looking at the both last pictures of this post. I understand.

Have a great WE

WOW - What a beautiful(in all of the meanings for beautiful) blog. Having put my hooks in a drawer many a decade (!!) ago, I am now going to dig em back out and get me some of your jiggy-jig moments, You have inspired me to replace the hitches with a jump or two in my giddy-up. Truly wonderful wishes for many more days like this day. New thoughts for the old "stop & smell the roses". Thank you.

First of all, I really love looking at all of your crochet work, and the English countryside, and your lovely English home.
Question: (forgive me if you've answered this elsewhere) How many balls of the Debbie Bliss do you use per row - or how many rows does one ball make?
Thanks!
Ellen G.

for those of us (namely me) who are inept at color creativity...will you list out your color order when you are done???
