About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Thank you for introducing Caroline. I just bought two of her cards with The Owl and the Pussy-cat. I recently taught that poem to my primary students and would like to show them how today's artists still get inspired by that poem.AriadnefromGreece!

I have been in bed mode since I got home - pj's went straight on and I got on the sofa with a blanket and soup! Love the art work - I love the peacock - it will be on my christmas wish list I think!

Lucy

Sorry you are not feeling 100% but love the way you can still see the positives. I love your clock and your print. I have been rippling away like I am in a Rippling Marathon, I may be developing 'Hooky Elbow'!

Kate

I've been wanting to go to bed since about lunchtime too- is the approaching cold and dark getting to us? Snuggle well!

michelle

The clock is cute!

Your bed looks lovely and cosy with your crocheted blankets as well!

Such a fun clock! I love all your colors! And, I need a clock in the bathroom... I discovered it in college and whenever I don't have one, it's quite disorienting-- I always feel late!

Mandy McCauley

What a lovely clock. It looks great with your bunting. Sleep well xxx

Primrose Beresford

Hi

Loving the 2 blankets together - some blankets just seem to have a natural connection, and those 2 have it.

Also love your crochet bunting in the bathroom :)

Best Wishes
Primrose

I love your blog...and I have to say you have taught me how to crochet. : ) My mom never could (she's lefthanded, I'm righthanded) and your blog has helped me SO MUCH! I've been making snowflakes and granny squares and I just started crocheting last month!

Lovely. I read your blogs often, and just wanted to say thank you for cheering me up after a horrid day! You have reminded me to look around and be thankful for my lovely home and the things that make my heart go skippy skip too!

Emma

The print is fab, and very 'Lucy', i'm off search etsy & folksy now. Hope you're back to your usual self soon, the demands of a busy family can leaves us mummies a bit worse for wear sometimes! Wishing you a good nights sleep, take care, K xx
