We are away down to Dorset today to the gaze at the blues of sea and sky.
To say I'm looking forward to it is an almighty understatement, I've been feeling inexplicably homesick of late for this little corner of the world that holds my heart.
I absolutely cannot WAIT to breathe in these coastal colours, to reconnect with dearly familiar places and faces.
Sending you all lots of love wherever you are in the World, I hope you enjoy a fabulous week full of happiness, laughter and good times with those you love.
See you soon my lovelies ♥

Soaking it all in with a cup of earl gray. 10 years ago I had my honeymoon in England a return of sorts as my grandmother was raised in Saint Ives Cambridgeshire. Three weeks was not enough. you are so lucky to live in such a lovely place. Thank you for the inspiring photos and the wonderful crochet work. It is always a pleasure to visit.

I keep checking back to hear how wonderful the Holiday was for you and your crew! Certainly hope it was. I know I've been relentless, but I WILL be in York to visit soon. Wished we could have hooked up, even for a brief one, to say hey, give you some goodies, and talk. Dang it... Happy days anyway.. :)

Hi Lucy,
I have been reading your blog for ages , and have meant to leave you so many messages- I cannot tell you how much I love it. But now felt like a great time- we came back from Lyme Regis on Friday, having spent a wonderful week away with my husband, and 2 littlies. This precious, long awaited, much needed trip was inspired by you, and wow, what can I say? We loved, loved, loved it- already planning another trip. That little place has captured our hearts- everyone was so friendly. Have a lovely time there. I am Nonnie's sister by the way, or does she call herself Fiona in blogland- hmmm, not sure. x

Wave to my dad in Charmouth when you drive past!
Hope the weather cheers up - mind you having driven from Northumberland to Herts yesterday in the driving rain I get the feeling you can cope with it!

hope you find your mom is doing great and have all spent some precious time together! will be looking forward to you sharing seaside pics etc (and how the new hooky project is coming along)
return home safely, hugs and heartfelt greetings from deutschland

When I saw this, I immediately thought of you. Check it out -- it's a granny square birdhouse!
