Hello my lovelies, good to be here.
I've been trying to write my July calendar post these past few days but eh-hem, it's not been working out. I've uploaded some super pics, but unfortunately the words are stuck and don't want to flow forth so I'm a bit scuppered with it. I suspect this mental blockage is due to general tiredness, I'm having a busy time with the Littlies at the moment. Plus I am mad crazy obsessed with my current hooky project which is whispering to me every spare moment of the day, teasing me with it's delightful colours and curves, begging me to come play with it. I sit at the laptop to write my blog and all I really want to do is go smooch with my crochet. So the smooching has won out. Which is precisely as it should be, right? Hooky first, Family second, Blog third. Or something like that.
Oh my. Love love love. Deeeeeeelicious.
Did I tell you how madly in love I am with what's on my hook at the moment? Do you like what you see?? I promise (hand on heart) that I'll share more if it with you in a day or two when there is more of it to show. It needs to grow a little bit bigger. But my goodness, it's a terrific little something I've conjoured up here, you're going to love it.
July is still here for another eighteen days so I will bring you my monthly seasonal ramblings at some point in the near future.
But in the meantime I can tell you the following ::
- The sun is shining and the sky is blue.
- I am in total love with the above images (boom boom boom goes my heart)
- Pimms is THE drink to drink in July.
- My Mum is home from hospital.
- I'm having a hair cut on Saturday.
Hooky love to all, see you all soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Lucy! I discovered your blog not too long ago. I'm very glad to hear your Mum is home from hospital. I've been making some crocheted toys for friends having babies. After seeing the Snake, I know what my next project will be. Can't wait for the next reveal. Is it a cushion ? But whatever it is, it's Lucy-colors all over and sure to wonderful!

Ohh I love that circular thing! I have been using your tutorial to make some summer granny squares, but progress is slow lol. I have to really concentrate to make even one haha. I think I will stick with ceramics and sewing maybe. But your work is beautiful!! Thank you for sharing!

I LOVE your happy inspiring little blog world!! It cheers me no end just to see your pretty colours.
Just wondering (you've probably been asked this question hundreds of times...) - when are you going to write a beautiful book filled with all your crochet loveliness? How I would love to flick through the pages over and over instead of staring at a screen and have the instructions to create some of your creations. Hmmm???

So happy to hear that your Mum is back home. As to the tah-da moment is it to be a rainbow dahlia cushion? Or a bag--stool cover---lid to croceted box? You are such a tease!
