While yes, your crochet is always beautiful and amazing I just had to say the picture of your "Kitchen door flung wide" while you cooked dinner literally took my breath away. That is just soo beautiful and charming and I don't have enough words to describe how lovely it is. Thank you for sharing bits of your day with us. I do so love visiting the Attic.

Hi Lucy, Ah I love this post! It really is the small things that are often the best. I woke up this morning thinking 'I will be grateful for this day' and just sitting outside the back step with a tea in hand and looking at the clear blue skies is enough to make my day today.
Totally loved your flower cushion on your previous post too! Thank you for the link.........I am in potholder mode at the moment and have been trying to find a flower potholder pattern, so it put a big yummy smile on my face.......although, your cushion looks so dreamy I could very well be tempted! ha ha! Hope the sun is shining for you today and all the family are well.
Much love

I love that little blue bottle!!! Is it an ink bottle? Very cool.
Tee hee hee I can't believe they are selling Russian Garlic flowers for 3 pound! They are very pretty though. My mum used to have them in her vegie patch. I am so loving your summer pictures. :) The cherries and plums, the bunting outside your kitchen door, Little B - such cuteness! Lucy thank you for the reminder to enjoy the simple things of life - they really do bring a lot of plesure, a light heart, and a happy smile.
