I adore it. Simply adore it. Makes me smile just looking at it. I am going to share a picture of it on my own blog (with credit to you, of course, and the original pattern). Thanks for being so lovely.

Love the snake... and I think the snake took to Lil' B, don't you think?

I would love to find your bunny pattern; is it yours? My own lil' A loves animals and blacks and I have been busy hooking up both... could you point me in the right direction?

It's wonderfull to see you back in a colourful crochet way. I just want to take a moment to tell you how much I enjoy reading your blog. I think your rainbow coloured crochet Snake is just wonderful.

Lucy, Your work is just beautiful. I would love some pointers if you are willing. I have a granny square blanket that I made and I have lose ends everywhere. Is there a trick to keeping everything tucked in?

Lucy! Made your 8 cup cake recipe last night - visiting a friend this morning and wanted to bring something homemade and only had one egg in fridge! The cup cakes look amazing and can't wait to taste it with her later. Thanks! Lemon drizzle cake a regular here too!

Hey Lucy, will you share your rendition of the pattern with us? Anne

Wonderful snakey!! Just an idea...if you make another one, you could fill it with rice and lavender. That way you could heat it up in the microwave and use it as a lovely neck wrap to sooth sore muscles. :) Of course we've got to figure out a way to keep the rice from escaping...hm...maybe use a long stocking or panty hose as the inner stuffing with the rice and such, then stuff the other stuffing around it?? Anway, he's beautiful!!

Oh I love it xx and I'm glad you are back xx

Love the bag which you keep all your yarn in, am going to have a go at that and also the snake for my new Great Niece. Found a great web site you may be interested at having a look at http://cecilymae.com/ from your home county Dorset great original work by another local lass.

Great snake! Thought you might like to see this. It's knitted but nothing crochet couldn't do. http://lastejeymaneje.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2011-06-27T21%3A30%3A00%2B02%3A00&max-results=10&reverse-paginate=true

I love your snake!!!
I too once made a snake draught excluder (from fabric not crochet), I can't bring myself to use him as a draught excluder though, he currently hangs out under my bed, keeping monsters away!
