Just waving to you through the Attic window to let you know we are home again, helloooooo!!
I can't quite find the words at the minute to describe how completely amazing our week away has been, it makes my heart soar just gazing at these pictures and remembering it all. I think it was possibly one of the most precious and perfect family holidays we have ever had, and I am so looking forward to sharing it with you....just transferred my photos from the camera to the laptop (242 of them) and have spent nearly an hour just drinking it all in and sighing with pleasure.
However....soooooooooooooo good to be home again too!! Of course number 24 is in complete post-holiday chaos, it's quite the mad house here at the moment. J is still home with us all this week (fab), kids go back to school tomorrow for all of two days before we embark on another 4-day holiday wkend (Royal Wedding + our annual Waterways festival + May Bank Holiday), so normality won't really return here until 3rd May.
I will post again as soon as I am able (hoping for tomorrow actually) to begin telling you the sun-drenched tales of our time in Dorset, looking forward to it hugely.
See you soon! xxx
There is no such place like home. Home is the last place on earth where you'll feel safe and comfortable. Your surroundings looks great. That is such a peaceful place. A perfect spot to relax.

I miss hearing a peep from you. But, know you are probably out planting that BLUE POT just like mine.... Any thing new on the hook?

Beautiful photo of the pebbles, although at first glance, I wondered why someone had left so many potatoes on the beach LOL
You have such an eye for capturing so many beautiful moments :o)

Fabbo!! Welcome back to Blogland Lucy. I can't wait to hear and see your holiday adventures. And I can't believe it's the Waterways Festival already - it's come round so quick! I expect there'll be all the colourful barges and bunting and flowers of last year and hopefully the sun will shine for you (sun? Bank Holiday?? maybe not)
Love and stuff xx

I've been wondering where you've been, glad it was such a glorious time!
My knit group and I were talking about you yesterday, a few of them didn't know about your blog and so I went to the computer (at our local knit shop, Happy Knits in Portland, OR) and opened your blog. Everyone was aaaahing and ooooing over all your lovely designs! You ought to be getting a few new followers!
Happy Days!
