So nice to hear and see that someone else like me also enjoy the little pleasure of life!! When I walk the streets early morning and a stranger says hi to me, or a child give me a big smile......really, that can make my day!!!! Early springflowers in my garden; the birds in the big tree near my window. It all brings a smile to my face. And like you I do love colour so much. I drive my husband crazy sometimes, haha! In half an hour I'm going to a very, very big craftfair with my friend. You'd enjoyed it there! Have a very great weekend Lucy!!!
Love from Holland, Marja.

oh I love that you notice the sky, especially such a beautiful one like you have snapped on the camera. Holding hands with my boys is pure heaven. I love that even tho my eldest is 8, he still by choice, grabs my hand as we walk through the shops or along the beach. Have a wonderful weekend at your place.

Yes indeed, you have hit the nail right smack dab on the head!! Some people go through life and never even see these things.

Dear Lucy,
I look forward to reading your blog. It is one of my "little pleasures", and you have inspired me to have a more positive outlook, learn to crochet -- ahem not as easy as you make it look -- and to start blogging.
Thank You

Lovely reminder that the best things in life are free and are all around us, if we take a pause to notice them.
Even though it's freezing here today, just reading this post warmed me right up!
Enjoy your weekend!

Funny how the "cost nothings", littlist, simple, everyday things bring the HUGEST amount of pleasure.
Having love and joy in your heart makes you the richest.

Pretty flowers! Speaking of which, I have been making a Japanese Flower Scarf (who hasn't!) and am really liking it so far (pictures on my last blog post). Just to say thank you for posting the links to the patterns. I love how, despite using the same basic pattern, all scarves turn out completely different depending on the tastes of the person crocheting it.
