About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

SO cute and fun! It makes me happy that you are so excited about those cute shoes; sometimes I get super excited about little things and feel silly. But its ok to get excited about the little things!!

Ha Ha! Lovely story, you're my sort of gal, someone who can make a story out of, well, just about anything, including SHOES! They are just so perfect for you, just don't let the Crocs know, they might get jealous. Then again, they will get their turn when the weather warms. Stop by and visit sometime. I'll try and post a shoe story (or two or . . . ) for you! Mommy Chicken :]

Louise

I just wanted to say i found your blog today through blog hoping and cannot believe how wonderfully colourful it is. Your crocheted creations are fantastic and you've made me want to go out tomorrow and buy some wool. I can't wait to make your bag :)

Love the shoes! I can imagine so many hundreds of orders to Oxygen Shoes that they won't know what hit them. They look so comfortable. Well done.

Very gorgeous and cheerful :)

I have a similar pair by DM which always cheer me up when I wear them.

What a perfect example of how wonderful blogging is :)

LOVE the red shoes. I can appreciate your excitement because last year I found the perfect pair of red cowboy boots (I had been searching for twenty years, no kidding, since college) that were very gently used. Every single time I slip them on they make me deliriously happy. :)

Joaninha

I have just been drooling over the oxygen shoes website... Thanks for the link!!!! Lovely to see your colour of the week, btw! What a nice, bright choice!

Pink Cat

Love your shoes. I have a similar pair in black - definitely not as exciting! They'll have to your magic 'Dorothy' shoes! x

Lucy the flower is georgous and well worth the wait, but the shoes are more georgous I think! and the pink spotty socks are a real inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

The Coffee Lady

Go away with your flower. You know very well that mine has failed.

Hello Sue! I love red shoes in general, I always have a pair on the shelf and a pair of red Spanish espadrilles for the summer that I wear most days until I destroy them by the end of the summer; these are a must every year. They are lively and go well with everything. It's easy to find red shoes (and any other colour) in Spain, specially for kids; so my girls always have a pair. We LOVE them very much here too. Yours are really cute, enjoy them! x Pati

vicki

oooh beautiful flower and beautiful shoe story x

Ruth

I too am a red shoes person. In fact I own 4 pairs and the only other shoes I own are a pair of wellies and a pair of winter boots. Everything else is red! I love your Mary Janes - you were meant for each other!

designcrafty

They are very nice shoes! can't wait to see what you get up to with the new year's yarn! i'm on a stash busting challenge - no more new craft material purchases for me for a while so i shall just come to you to get my fix! have a very happy week. Kp down at designcrafty.

Cute shoes! I love the fairytale, childhood magic of red mary janes... So much that I recently created a flickr gallery of some delightful pictures of red mary janes that various users had uploaded: http://www.flickr.com/photos/angorian/galleries/72157625704710643/
