About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Hola Dear Amiga Lucy,I've decided to drop you a line. I'm Sending my thoughts and positive vibes to you. "I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read and all the friends I want to see" ~John Burroughs.
Take care! Hasta pronto,

Dear Lucy
I would like to send an email but I can not find your email. Would it be too intrucive to ask for it?
Despina, from Greece

Have meant to tell you about a book review I read of 'The Surprising Life of Constance Spry' who was a health lecturer who travelled country Ireland in a caravan. She was known as 'cheery Connie' and I immediately thought of your Connie van. As a child she loved flowers and went on to open a flower and wedding shop, and flower school in Mayfair and even styled two royal weddings.
Good choice of name for your van by your littlies.

Your posts makes me want to visit your part of the world, and that will be happening next year. As an Aussie, England has a great attraction for us. We have spent time in London but now want to see country and coastal UK.
Can't wait to visit Beatrix Potter's area and walk the paths. And just to experience your villages.
Would love to hire a combi and camp as I love the Cool Caravan book.
Hope Autumn is being kind to you, whereas we are having quite a wet Spring.

great pictures, but wee man's hand is just so cute. How old is he now??

Loved your photos, especially the one of your baby playing with his musical toy. Our little granddaughter, now 9 &1/2 months old has one too and she loves twiddling the knobs and jigging to the music. Happy days which pass too quickly.
