:: going out into the cold back yard to put rubbish in the bin and seeing that one of my geraniums is still flowering. Such a zing of brilliant colour, it made my heart squeeze. I couldn't resist plucking a stem and bringing it indoors to zing away on the table. It makes me so happy to see it there ::
:: stepping outside this morning into the cold, fresh, crisp air. Spending a few quiet moments with my face turned up to the sky, breathing it all in. Such a glorious blue ::
:: sitting by the fire reading magazines, so cosy and homely. I had a hot water bottle on my leg as I had pulled a muscle and it was really aching. The gentle heat helped a lot ::
:: ahhh Little B...truthfully many, many Happy Little Moments come via him these days, he is such a Producer of Happiness! His feet are particularly scrummy, I love them dearly ::
:: my evening ritual of Lighting The Candles. How short our days are becoming now, we are drawing the curtains around 6.30pm. Love the gentle flickering glow of candlelight, makes me feel all mmm-mmm-aaaahhhh ::
:: toasting marshmallows on the fire before bed, very happy Little People ::
♥ hope your weekend was full of Happy Little Moments too ♥

You really have a way with words, pics and a joy for life! Thanks for the happiness you give so generously! Just to let you know I have finished a stripy blankie for our camper-van (Lena) and almost finished a crochet bag (handles and flowers) and just need to sew the ripple cushion together-- just call me 'clone of Lucy'. Oh I could eat your baby!

Hi Lucy - I've been following your blog for a while now and think it's so lovely and colourful! I'm originally from a tiny village called Kelbrook (between Colne and Skipton) which is over your way and your previous pics of the misty hills make me homesick - especially all the bad weather pics! Keep up the good work.

Hello!
I am writing to you only to tell you how much I love your blog.
I am a Swedish woman, I live in the very north of Sweden (a lot of snow and very cold at winter time)
I work as a teacher on an upper secondary school and in my spare time I do a lot of handicraft.
I found your blog a couple of months ago and I really enjoy reading it
Some of the things I made after reading your tutorials are two blankets ripple style, one blanket granny stripes, the edging for grannys and so on. So when I have a problem with something crocheting for example I think - well I take a look at Attic 24 - and I always got a lot of help
I like your colour mix, and the lovely pictures (you are so good taking them) and your ever so interesting text.
best regards Ann

The little baby toes are sweet little blessings from heaven. Smootchy smootchy in our family. :) When I see your crochet i just want to snuggle in the blissfulness of them. Have a great weekend!

I am trying to get in to your blog. You see, my BFF thinks you are practically Martha Stewart hersself... sheesh. So I gander back over here and scroll through your bloggings... just so I can report back to the Queen that I have made a visitation.
I love baby toes. I love geraniums. I love the sea. I love your yarn color choices. I love when you post photos of coffee or tea... so maybe you do have a cozy and quaint place over here... I will try to be back. Until then... if you happen to stop in and visit the Queen again over at the Palace Post ( www.thepalacepost.blogspot.com )
... say that her Scribe sent ya... say something snarky... I could really use a good scandalous laugh. hehehe

Hi
I just wanted to let you know that I borrowed one of your photos and linked to your blog from mine. I hope you don't mind. If you do, I'll of course remove the picture immediately. I'm just so totally in love with your crocheting stuff and it has inspired me to start a blanket of my own, even if it's not entirely up to your standards! :)

Much like Kate, I enjoy how you find delight in the simplest of things. Thanks for your posts - I think many of us forget to really look and find beauty in the simple things of life. PS - I had 4 boys and I especially loved bathtime, knowing the baby lotion massage would come next and my chance to spread *mommy kisses* all over their little bodies. They grow so fast - every day that passes is one less day you have to do that stuff!
