I'm sure someone already told you, the flowers are hibiscus. I bought myself a bright pink one 3 years ago, when I moved from Massachusetts to Virginia.

joan

Tina

Great pictures.

Babies are cheeky little critters! They always do what you want them to when you are not there to see it and they do what you don't want them to and they will NEVER do something when you want someone else to see it!

Hello Lucy,
I discover your lovely blog a few weeks ago.Thank very for the "how to", it helps me a lot, althow it's difficult for me sometimes, to understand other language.
I am from the Canary Island,Spain.I am tired of warm sunny weather all the year, and i miss the cold and rain you have.
The red flower it's an "Hibiscus" it's very common here, and very hard,it doesn't need much attention, but the sun to have flowers. They came in many different colors.
It sound a very nice weekend, and Menorca is's even more relaxing.Less people.
I'll follow you and your nice crochets.

Esther

my little one has just started to crawl too at a little over 8 months old. No chance of a child free getaway withn me especially with the breast feeding1

Tina

This view isn`t bad, either, though I do so much love the view from the attic. What a blue this sky is! Curious to know where you were… Sometimes it is good to be without the daily duties, not matter how much you love your small ones...

Nilla

Not so relaxing to get back home then... :) They really grow so fast the first year, don't they? Hope you had a lovely time!

Anne

Wow - it looks amazing!
I hope your batteries were recharged and that the massive pile of washing magically disappears ;)

I follow your blog (as do a plethora of others) regularly and I'm heart-warmed that you got some relaxing -You- time. Your pictures portray the location as simply idyllic.

Glad to have you back, too!

Dear Lucy,
I'm so pleased that you managed to get a break away. Pity wasn't around for you or I would have done your ironing for you.

Wow! It looks just like the Canary Islands. But it feels like if that's a bit far for a "little" trip;)
Wherever it was, I know you so deserve it:)
