Hi Lucy, I have been following your blog now for couple of months and absolutely love it! I actually taught myself to crochet when I saw all the beautiful things you have made, and am now making my own granny stripe blanket! Glad to see your message today, have missed your presence in blogland!

Hello lovely Lucy, so good to hear from you. It is so hard trying to juggle everything - but not long now til the end of such a long term (and year)! And what a year you have had!

Well done! You are a brilliant Mum and blogger. Take care and enjoy your week.

lots of love to you all

Dear Lucy, I check your blog daily to see what's new, and this evening I was so happy to found the new post :) we are in the same boat, my little one is turning 9 month on July 23, he keeps me soooooo busy, and on next monday I will restart working again... Oh my, I have so little time now, can't imagine how it will be when I'm back to work! Anyway, I'm sitting here in front of my PC and also I'm crocheting my lucy's bag, I love this pattern! thank you so much. Love, Giusy

Good to heard you're all going well. I'm sure your Summer holidays will be full of wonderful moments.

I have missed you. I just found you not too long ago. I check every day to see if you have posted anything. Thanks to you I have started a ripple afghan (your pattern, of course). This pattern is wonderful. Thanking you for coming up with it. I live in the desert southwest of the United States and just wonder what life must be like for you in the North of England.

It's always good to hear from you! Enjoy the summer break.

Hi Lucy
So glad you are ok - was wondering a little as your cheery voice has been not so present on Ravelry too.

I think the grown ups are also oh-so-weary and in need of end of term - I am too and have a little skip in my heart as I have 5 of the next 6 weeks at home! Going on a couple of caravan trips (will try and blog them as they're a Cl and a tiny campsite and I do love my little campsites)

Enjoy your much needed pyjama day ad hope you get a trip or two away in Connie.

Hi Lucy:

Ufffff was so scared, so long without writing, I thought that something had happened. Well thank God no, that all is well in your home. I'll be awaiting your next post.

Hi Lucy, been too busy myself to pop in, but thought you would be interested to know your recipes for carrot cake and butterfly cakes went down a storm last Saturday at Didsbury Oxfam when the Poet Laureate came for a special event. Also, you met my sister, Jayne, the other week - well I heard today her daughter will make her a Grandma in the Spring! Sparks are coming off our needles and hooks now. Have a good holiday and remember these days of having too much to do sorting children out and feeling swamped by domesticity seem endless at the time, but are over in the twinkling of an eye. Hang in there and will join you on Ravelry - what a good idea xxxxx

I cannot wait to see the Granny Stripe blanket! Having these long breaks in between posts just makes us all appreciate you more. :) Enjoy your time with the family!

Hello! I have been a follower of your blog for awhile, though not officially until lately. I love the things you make, and you have such a gift for color. I cannot wait to see the granny stripe afghan finished. I've been saving the pictures so far. I plan to make this very soon. I did make the round tote, it is adorable, though mine is not as beautiful as yours. Again, I don't have the gift of color.

Hope you have a great day, and can get some help from your young ones when they are out of school.

Hi..I found your blog...loved your blog, and then you disappeared!! I am so glad you are back. Rest up, and come back to share your wonderful blanket. I tried to make it, but mine did not turn out like yours. I then realized that UK and US have different abbreviations for crochet. I am doing oodles of your granny squares though.

Glad to hear you're on the 'up' again. Takes a lot of adjusting when there's a new baby in the house again. I never get through all the stuff I need to each day - I just figure I'll catch up when Tiddler is a couple of years old instead! (I think we might be from the same neck of the woods as one of the yarn shops you mentioned isn't too far from where I grew up and where my parents still live.)

Hope your summer hols work out the way you want them too. I am granny striping a la your instructions, and waiting impatiently for more colors of yarn to arrive in the mail! That Ravelry thing is fantastic!

Yippee! You're back and life is getting almost back to normal! It's good to read your blag again.

Lucy, so good to hear you are ok! You enjoy lazing in those pjs I used to loove the summer hols a time to put the clock away and so myself and the kiddywinks could stay up late and get up late! Great fun, you enjoy xx

Good grief you must crochet up a storm as i've been working on my blanket as long as you have and i'm only half done. I'm really enjoying it but finding i'm getting hotter by the minute in the evenings swamped under all the crochet lol
