  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. Hi Lucy, Lovely to hear from YOU! MIssed you. Sorry to hear little one is ill....but you are a wonderful caregiver and mommy! They will remember your love always and it will let them know how to care for someone too, in the future!!! My words of wisdom, can you tell I am much older than you. Love the fact that you could touch base with all of us followers. I would love to do a blog like your's but I don't know how. I am making comfort dolls for the Haiti orphans and they are so sweet. Well, take care and hope noone else get sick. Love, Robbie

Well, I think I will have to wait to know.
Anyway, I'm glad to hear from you Lucy; glad that everything is going well.
Running a house, 3 little people and the rest is more than a full-time job; no time to get bored isn't ?
Thank you for sharing this with us and for bringing lots of colours in our life ! Cheers from Belgium.

i'm just getting out of that very intense baby phase. It seems never ending at the time but remember it does get easier. Just do what ever you need to do to keep sane and happy. For me reading your blog keeps me with my feet firmly on the ground. - no pressure!! I truly love reading your diaries and seeing your beautiful photos. Thankyou xxx

Holy Crap, you get a lot of comments!

Just bobbing by myself, I have a 4 week old baby girl and can soooo identify with many of your points here Lucy.

All I want to do is sleep, crochet, eat chocolate, snuggle under colourful rugs, make soup and watch our Australian autumn turn into winter.....

Resmi Ravi

oldest son at my house gets sick like that too, always has, he's 16 now. I stopped taking his temperature, just provided the baby panadol and lemonade iceblocks. lemonadie iceblocks (ice lollies?) still find favour with sick teenagers and still help with temperatures. and stressed mothers can enjoy them too!!

Clare

look at your yummy little people : ) Sorry to hear about the illness but with all that colour in your home it must make everyone feel brighter so thats a good thing.I am curious about "the new purchase"!! have you all gone a found a new home or something?? how exciting.xx

So GOOD to hear from you Lucy, and we can all understand how super busy you must be. ((hugs))

Family comes first, and I hope your big-boy is feeling better soon. Shoo, germs-- go away!

Little B is a darling and looks so snug in his comfy, colorful hooked blankets. It makes me smile to see all of your gorgeous hook work being put to good use.

Can't wait to see your new projects and to learn about your Big Purchase. Wishing you all the best. xoxo ~m

I have 4 little people to care for and the Mr.... and I'm quite exhausted too!
Sadly, my ripple project has taken quite the back seat this spring.
Ugh.
One day...
Until then, you keep on inspiring me !

Hi Lucy,
This is the first time I read your blog. I just started a community crochet workshop tutor. It give me a very warm feeling and it is also very colourful, cos it's autumn over here in Australia. It's very kind of you to share your work with others. Keep up with the good work that you are doing. Thank you and take care.

Kind Regards
