So, Lovely... is it me or does the borders have heart motifs in them?? I see them in the photo... very, very beautiful... your colors are always so lovely

Sally

Lucy, I just stumbled across you and I can't wait to share you with my crafty daughter. She will LOVE all the color!

Maybe you can give me a tip? My other daughter is making a round table-topper in acrylic worsted weight, dc'd all the way around and around. It is going to be 60" diameter (155 cm). She is almost finished, but the center is difficult to lay flat. Any ideas about how to do it better next time?

Also, do you have any idea how this was done: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=28342580&ref=sr_gallery_9&&ga_search_query=poppy+tablecloth&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title
Not interested in the poppies, just the tablecloth. The artist says it's her original but does not have her pattern for sale. It's beautiful, I think.

Thank you for the lovely article and the wonderful pictures. I found this on a day when it is grey, cool, and damp here in the USA where I live in Wisconsin. Congrats on the new baby, too.

anouk

That is so nice! I wish that I had the patience to make one. I made one square once, then I knew it wasn't meant to me ;)

Pati

What a wonderful result, Lucy! Thanks for bringing so much colour to my life! xxxx Pati (a Spaniard from London)

Kcrystina

That's gorgeous! Congrats on sticking with it & seeing it through right to the end...and what a beautiful end it is too. *grin* You have inspired me to continue working on a blanket I started quite a while ago using all my small balls of yarn. It's intended for my son, perhaps I'll be able to have it finished by the time the winter holiday season rolls around again :)

Xinapatch

I love your blog. I normally do patchwork but I discovered your blog looking for Granny Squares. I will follow from now
