You make my heart skippy-happy...you and your pages are very uplifting...even with little ones that cry. I am past that "stage" now, they are both 6' and some, but still give me "trying" days. All the best to you and your friends, a very heart skippy gift to oneself.

hena tayeb

that muffin would be very yummy in my tummy..

Mildawg

Look like wonderful things. I'm glad to hear that everything calmed down.

Dearest Lucy, (I sound like Aslan) congratulations! I am so loving your blog and thinking of you, my baby is now 22 weeks. I am halfway through a stripey blanket but knitting with a plan for a crochet edge, using Patons cotton... Bless you for sharing xx

I am anxiously awaiting for my seed & plant catalog to come in the mail. I'm in the US, so mine is from Burpee. I can dream about veggies and flowers while I flip through the pages. Now to go harass the mailman and see where my catalog is! :)

Wendy

Oooooh! Lovely day! Hope you and baby continue to do better today.

Your tulips are very nice .. my fav. flower. I have also been planning my garden this week. It realy brightens a dull day looking at all those pretty colours. Mind you other than my usual sweetpea's, Marigolds and California Poppies (I keep my own seeds each year) I am realy just planting lots of salad and veg this year... taking a portion of the good life. Yummmy strawberrys too.

Take care and chin up .. there always somthing to smile about.

You are sounding good Lucy and have produced a post that is well up to Your usual standard of Loveliness despite having spent an entire day with a screaming pixie (a cute and adorable one of course). Those tulips make my heart sing :o)

Hope You have a Lovely low on screams high on cuddles weekend xxx

Hello Lucy, I am brand new to crocheting and I also have a tiny baby (just 3 months) along with a 3.5 year-old super-active boy. I love sewing and textile crafts, but I want to have a go with the hook too. After discovering your lovely blog it is all much easier, because your tutorials are the best of what there is!

PS: I too have a blog... ehm but very neglected. Must fix that one!

Lucy--I just found your blog tonight and it is remarkable...so colorful and jaunty! It really makes me happy to read it! Enjoy your young family and make time to nurture yourself. Remember that even though the days seem positively endless, the years really do fly by (and I should know-I'm the mother of four grown daughters!) :)

I have had two rotten days in a row. I feel for ya. My little 1 yr old threw a fit for two hours, threw up on me and then went on her merry little way content as could be!

Barbara

What a great friend you have! I'm so glad that your day went better and was better for Little B also.

Hi Lucy, the flowers are really gorgeous!!!
Glad you are having a good day with the baby.

Dear Lucy sorry to hear that you had a bit of a bad day. Glad that your friend cheered you up. Have had an exhausting assignment this week most of it caused with traveling through the city centre.
Handy if you want to do some shopping
on the way home but I just wanted to
get home for a sit down and a cup of tea.
Later in the evening I'm relaxing looking forward to my day off when there's a phone call from builder to say he will
be round in the morning to start replacing kitchen ceiling! So have to be up at the crack of dawn.
My SR catalogue has come too.I like the jug of sweet williams on the back of the seed catalogue.
Anyway the weekend is upon us. Have a good one with your family.
Love sarah west mids

Veronica

Such beautiful and wonderful things! Good for you for finding happiness even when things are less than stellar.

I hope your baby continues to have better days. Rough baby days can be tough.

Fiona

Ooh lovely tulips. They're on my shopping list for this weekend. I think I need that Sarah Raven catalogue. I've been oggling her website and have quite a 'wish list' saved ready to place an order in the next month or two but I think seeing that scrumptious looking catalogue might help me with my final choices. :-)

Judith

hopefully things are better today. One day at a time I reckon. In the mean time having pleasant, colourful distractions is a good idea!
