Dear Lucy do not start a posting with the word FAREWELL. My heart skipped a beat
until I focused properly and read it again
properly. Mind you I notice that I was not alone. Thank goodness. The photos are wonderful and I am looking forward to
being a follower out here in blog land
during 2010.
I'm sorting out my crafting stuff and looking the bits and pieces for a special
project!!

oh that's lovely! I share you passion for colour, your pictures are delightful! I have those stripey socks that appear in a couple of pictures (I am in fact wearing them now). The best way to cheer up a dull morning!

Thankyou. Your pictures are really beautiful. Might just inspire me to try my own this year. Looking through the pictures reminded me of all your colourful and cheery postings. Looking forward to more but only once you have the time and have gathered your strength.

What kind of camera do you use? You photos are fabulous!

Thank you! I got the robe from Boden!!! I can't take it off. I am in love with this robe. I want to wear it to church on Sunday. Would that be wrong? Hmmmm. I was looking through your pictures and saw the shot of millionaire shortbread. Oh I miss it. I've tried to recreate it here in the state but it just isn't the same. Do you have a recipe? We were in Scotland about 9 years ago and couldn't get enough of it. Thank you for sharing. I love your blog. Oh yes, Blessings to your new little man.

Such bright, happy, colorful pictures - I think that you should publish a book! There are a couple on the market that I own - one on domesticity, another on a daily photo project. If you compiled your patterns, etc., I am positive it would be a best seller!

Hi Lucy - Its me, Jen in Boise. First congratulations. I think I'm probably the last person to tell you that. I'm so excited for you. AND JEALOUS. To have a newborn is such a gift. Oh I wish I could go back and savor all of that. You can!
Also, another question. Today's post. Man I'd love the months as a calander. Any way to do that? I'd hang it right here in my little desk nook thinking of Lucy every day. How fun!

Yikes! That was a scary moment or two until I fully realized what you were doing here.
Lovely photos, breathtaking colors, and perfect composition. I love it.

Funny. After following your blog for a year now I remember many of those pictures and the story surrounding them. I was startled for a moment by the title until I saw the 2009 part. Beautiful pictures.

Talk about sending me into a panic... 'farewell'? Crumbs! And I so agree with Amanda's comment up there - a calendar would be great...

My goodness, didn't you do a lot last year? What a glorious display of gorgeousness! So many varied and wonderful things you brought to us. The dish of sweeties remind me of how that post made me laugh and I loved those butterfly primulas. There are cakes there that look so yummy you could eat them off the screen! The little Easter hen puts me in mind of the fact that while in the depths of Winter, Spring is on its way and we will all be out of our snowy doldrums before too long. In fact if I want to do what I want before Easter I need to start now! I hope you have had a wonderful start to the new year, and that in 2010 you will continue to bring us all the happiness, hope and colour you did in 2009
