Just bobbing into the Attic to give you a wave and say ((Cooo-eeee)) and (Hellloooooo)) !!
Ahh life is busy-buys-busy right now and I'm enjoying it for the most part.
These pictures were taken on Friday, which was officially a Time Out kind of a day.
Time out of the house, time away from the perils of Extreme Nesting, time out in the open air with the one I Love.
J had taken the day off work, and we enjoyed a beautiful morning walk together through damp woodland at Bolton Abbey.Talked and laughed, ambled and strolled.
He even very kindly pushed me all the way up the hill :: a little humiliating but entirely necessary. We laughed at that.
After
all that exertion and nature and scenery and chatter and laughter, we drove to a picturesque
village pub in the Yorkshire Dales to eat a most scrumptious lunch together in front
of a roaring log fire.
Then back down to our town to stroll the market and have a quick cup of coffee in a dinky little Italian cafe before collecting the Little People from school.
It was a lovely way to spend the day....Time Out is most definitely a very, very Good Thing.
So yeah...back at home today on my tod, climbing the rather treacherous and dauntingly high Clutter-Mountain here at Attic24.Am pleased to say I have at last left Base Camp.
Still in the Foothills, and still got a looooooong way to go till I get
to the Summit, but I am making progress.
And progress is a Good Thing.

That sounds absolutely wonderful. My husband and I were just talking the other day about the last time we had any fun together...and couldn't remember...it's been that long.

I live in London, but come from Burnley. I've been to Bolton Abbey many times and love it as much as you do. Wonderful blog!

A misty gray day is a wonderful time to capture rich outdoor colors. We visited Giverny, Monet's home, on a day when it was pouring. I don't regret it at all! The flowers glowed! Beth

What a lovely lovely place! You sound like you had a really nice relaxing time - a good thing to take a moment or too out of a very busy life. It restores your batteries and all that. Thanks for taking your camera with, so we get to have a look. (I've got a thing about trees - love them). Hope all your 'stuff' is coming along nicely. Don't forget to put your feet up sometimes though!

Lucy ~ It sound like you had the perfect day out. I love the photo's and I love the fact that you had to be pushed all the way up the hill, it made me laugh too! It is so good to spend some time with the one you love ~ it is definitely something we should all do more often.
My Watery Ripple Scarf is having it's very own BiG Moment on my blog today. Thanks so much again for all your wonderful inspiration and lovely patterns that you very kindly share with us all.
I'm also glad to hear that you are making progress but please try and take the time out to put your feet up for a little rest and perhaps find some time for some tea and cake too! :O)
