About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. That sounds absolutely wonderful. My husband and I were just talking the other day about the last time we had any fun together...and couldn't remember...it's been that long.

I live in London, but come from Burnley. I've been to Bolton Abbey many times and love it as much as you do. Wonderful blog!

Have been thinking of spending a day like this with my Husband but keep letting life get in the way! Thanks for making it all look so tempting - I'm going to ring him and book a day out together now!

Hello Lucy,
I'm sooo glad to have found your wonderful blog! I'd love to try all your beautiful patterns! They're so sweet and you must also have the most beautiful house in England with all those decorations you've made!

Josette

Haven't have time to comment on your blog for some days, so busy!
But still taking time to read it, puts me in such good mood after a long day!

Take care, you and Bump!

A misty gray day is a wonderful time to capture rich outdoor colors. We visited Giverny, Monet's home, on a day when it was pouring. I don't regret it at all! The flowers glowed! Beth

What a lovely lovely place! You sound like you had a really nice relaxing time - a good thing to take a moment or too out of a very busy life. It restores your batteries and all that. Thanks for taking your camera with, so we get to have a look. (I've got a thing about trees - love them). Hope all your 'stuff' is coming along nicely. Don't forget to put your feet up sometimes though!

Jackie

Lucy ~ It sound like you had the perfect day out. I love the photo's and I love the fact that you had to be pushed all the way up the hill, it made me laugh too! It is so good to spend some time with the one you love ~ it is definitely something we should all do more often.

My Watery Ripple Scarf is having it's very own BiG Moment on my blog today. Thanks so much again for all your wonderful inspiration and lovely patterns that you very kindly share with us all.

I'm also glad to hear that you are making progress but please try and take the time out to put your feet up for a little rest and perhaps find some time for some tea and cake too! :O)

Sofisan
