Helloooooo!!!!
I bought some amazing greetings cards recently and thought you would love to see them....
This is the work of Kate Jenkins, who works under the business name of "Cardigan".
You can see a whole gallery of her quirky, innovative crochet work on her website here, and also more here.
I love her work very much, but oooooooooooeeeee at how much one would have to pay to own a bit of Kate's crocheted Comfort Food???!!
Tis eye wateringly expensive.Think I'll stick with the printed paper version.
I'm writing a super-whizzy post today folks as I'm still busy doing bathroomy
things and getting oh-so-excited about it!!!
Been busying myself with sky
blue painted things, stripy fabric things (with matching pompoms) and crocheted
bunting things :: such fun!!
Lovin' it today, love-love-lovin' it. Ooooo I am just all smoochy and In LOVE with my bathroom, it's so very nearly FINISHED (in Capital Letters no less), can't wait to show you......
Life is sometimes just one huge buzz of mega-creative excitement, don't you find??!!
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
This is such a good idea ! Thanks a lot for this !!!

Her website is fab. I'm lovin' the soft smokes being an ex-malboro (albeit lightes) fan (pre children obviously). I'm going to have to start bookmarking these sites as I always forget what they were.
Great find - great greetings cards - thank you!

OMG! I'm shocked...that's crazy expensive. Crazy! You know you could make those things yourself Lucy! :)
But the crochet goodies sure do make nice cards, don't they?

ahhh wow, those ice gems are great!
I can't wait to see your finished bathroom along with all your crochet, stripes and pompoms. Are the pompoms from deckchairstripes per chance? I love them.

Hi,
I have actually seen these items in the flesh when I visited Brighton in the summer. Clever, but over priced. However, they do seem to sell.

Greetings,
I stumbled on your blog while searching Google for craft websites and wanted to say that I really like the format you have in place and how the content flows.
The work displayed is very nice and I appreciated looking at it. You seem like someone who takes pleasure in quality work and instruction since you are sharing online. In lieu of this, I was hoping to share something with you as well, maybe you or your readers will be interested.
It is called Easy Stitch, an application for iPhone and iPod Touch users that give step by step instruction on how to learn Knitting, Crochet and Embroidery. We recognize that for advanced crafters such as yourself it may not cover as much knowledge as you share with your site but we thought you may be interested anyways.
If you get a chance, you can take a look at Easy Stitch by going to http://www.easystitchapp.com and see what you think. If you don't have an iPod or iPhone, feel free to pass this on to your fellow crafters that do.
Thanks for your time and again, great site!

Lucy, after your post I went on an internet shopping trip looking for those cards, which happen to be nowhere. I did run across the cutest store in Australia named Lark. She was selling a knitted donuts. Not crocheted, but very cute. Here's the link. http://www.larkmade.com.au/products/handknitteddoughnuts.html

As always, love reading your blog, Lucy, and this morning was fun, discovering someone who also crochets classic British biscuits - I was blown over by the price asked though! [Wouldn't normally do this, but if anyone is interested, I have a very popular crocheted biscuit box in my range of crochet & felted food. How about a 5% discount for Attic24 blog readers if that's ok with Lucy?!]

The best kinds of day are when you're happy and inspired and excited and all wrapped up in a wonderful project.
The cards are stunning...and hunger-inducing!
