I love it! And I edmire your talent to acctually finish your crochet project so quick! I spend lots of time to make a blanket! Lucky baby with such a handy mommy!
Love from Norway!

What a pretty blanket! I think Stripes must be in right now - I'm currently working on a blanket for my sister!

Lucy, you look stunning in that last photo! Pregnancy suits you so well. The blanket is gorgeous, and I can see why you got carried away.

Very well done!

beautiful, like you!!

So pretty, and you've got the balance of colour and tone just right across the blanket which is always a worry to me when I join as
I go. Can't wait to see #2 and the bathroom reveal! Love Penny (Planet Penny)

Bon mon anglais n'est pas très bon, alors je continue en français. Comme d'habitude c'est superbe. Ce que j'aime particulièrement dans votre travail ce sont les couleurs.
Venir sur votre blog est une vraie joie.

Lucy, you're a beautiful, BEAUTIFUL woman!!!! just wanted to say that.
Can wait to see your next project and Baby24 and your newly decorated bathroom. Can't wait, can't wait!!!!!! Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Lucy ~ another beautiful, colourful Attic 24 blanket to add to your wonderful collection ~ I'm not quite sure where you find the time to fit it all in!! Look forward to seeing the lovely stripey one when it's done too :O)

What a gorgeous blanket, it is simply stunning. The colours and combinations you have chosen work so perfectly together. I don't know how you managed it without any planning ahead!

This is the first time I have ever seen a Granny blanket that I adore and it also took me back to when I was little learning my first stitches and making squares from my mothers wool scraps.

I will definately pop by and visit your blog often. You are so welcoming!

Oh, it is so beautiful! You got the eye for those colours and how to join them together :)
I just llllove your colourful posts!

your smile says it all, awesome!!

Hi Lucy,
what a fantastic job and so quick. You inspire me as I am so time poor I hardly get time for craft.
Keep it up.

Lucy - your blanket is wonderful and thanks for sharing your adorable face with us. I am working on a join-as-you-go granny square blanket in colorful cotton - you inspired me! I have finished a "Lucy Bag" with the same colored cotton. Next on the agenda are some "Lucy" pillows! I live in Corbett, Oregon in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. My sister and I both adore you and your fun and inspirational posts and works. *HUGS********* Teresa

You and the Blanket! Thanks for the latest Ta -Dah inspiration!

Dear Lucy:
Your blanket is just beautiful! Your color combos are right on. But I have to tell you that the brightest thing in your blog today is your happy smiling face! You have certainly brightened up my day. You are just great!
Thank you -

G'day Lucy,
You are looking positively glowing & content with life at Attic24... congratulations & best wishes for the new member of Attic24 when he or she arrives. I think your nesting has begun & you'll have a new 'smaller' Baby Grannie done in no time at all... sorry I've been a wee bit behind with the baby news only realised when you had your birthday you were presenting us all with a new member... but I must say you are looking extremely well & ready... all the best... Blessings... Bethel

What beautiful pictures! Both of you and the blanket for bump24. You are brightening the world one item at a time and with your very bright spirit. Thank you, it always makes my day to visit the Attic. I am just starting the wrist warmers in soft purple angle hair mohair. Thanks for the pattern and the idea. Have fun nesting this week and take care. BeBe in not so Sunny Florida

Oooh, I love it! Especially that border.

Oh, it is simply lovely!

Baby will get much more use out of a downstairs blanket in the long run, and of course baby will share it with the bigger small persons as well as Mum and Dad. :)

And OF COURSE you have to make a cot blanket!! This is no point in your pregnancy to be without a woolly project. Stripes will be perfect...I look forward to seeing what colors you choose.

Love it!

Hello Lucy,

It is so funny to read about the almost, almost completed state of you bathroom renovation, and then...to see that beautiful granny blanket. It might not start out to be a cot-sized blanket, but I just bet that new baby will find her/himself wrapped up in it during those first wintry months.

It's lovely, and the bobble trim edging is a very good choice.

It's lovely to see how many other folks are inspired by your enthusiasm, and perhaps by your smiling, serene face.

That picture of you at the bottom is simply lovely! You look very happy!

BEAUTIFUL! Plus everything else that all the previous commentors have already said: ditto!!! Ditto times I don't know, trillions!
Oh to snuggle under that well you go girl, keep it on the sofa! Can't wait for both the bathroom ta-dah and the stripey blankie. Hugs and thanks from Thame where I will go snuggle under our ripple blanket....aaah I have to hide it from the dogs! They have taken over the blue-green one. Hugs again, bye.
