Hello!

About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Me thinks that you are just too talented!

Danielle

thank you for sharing - you are very generous - I imagine all around the world many birdies (of the yarny type) will soon be flapping their little wings !

Mrs Bun

Now that works for me and I can see lots of potential for that to become all sorts of things. Dingly dangly baby things perhaps.

Thought I should just come out and say Hello Lucy.

That is such a cute bird!! I actually thought it was a bird before you folded it in half - hah!

illahee

Bree

A whole flock of birdies could make a very nice baby mobile too.

Kathy

Just wanted you to know that I've been reading your blog about a month now and you inspire me!!! I've crocheted flowers for my grandaughter's jacket and a toy for my grandson and have all kinds of ideas floating around in my head. Thanks and keep it up!

Birdie hookieness is fabulous!!! There will be a pattern fothcoming? Yes, not like you don't have anything else to do, but I have developed a sudden passion for strange decorative chickens and I think I could make that work with the hookey birdie! Have a great week! Thanks for your brightness! BeBe in Florida

Jessie

What a wonderfully little tweety! I would be very happy with one as a Christmas present - especially if it smelled of lavender. I hope you will share the pattern with us.

Jennifer

No wonder you were muddled! That creativity would make me muddled too.

Love to see your ideas!! You are sooo talented! xoxoxo Jennnifer in Boise Idaho

Suzette

Lucy, you are amazing! You just think something up and make it without much fretting as to how. That little birdie is BRILLIANT and I may just have to steal your idea for a birthday gift I need to make. Remember, imitation is the sincrest form of flattery!
Sincerely, Suzette

Susie

Cute fast project. Hope you will write it up for us to make too!

Adorable! Your creative mind is amazing. I wish I were half as creative when it came to crocheting, but I tend to be more comfortable following a pattern. :)
