I'm really, really happy with it. Loving it even.
As promised, I've been very very busy writing up a cushion-making tutorial for you. It's been a real challenge actually. Much harder than I anticipated. I really hope I've done alright and that you'll be able to follow it without too much difficulty. I finished the tutorial at lunch time today and you can find it over to the left there at the bottom of my sidebar. Usual place, listed as a Page, or click here.
Hoping you can make use of it, and I look forward to hearing about your cushiony thrills and spills....don't forget you can now share photos with us all in the Attic24 Inspired group pool on Flickr too.
Right I'm off for a cuppa, have a lovely day xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Edited to add :: after being asked about the pattern for the basic two-round granny squares used in this cushion, I realise that this is something I've not yet done...tut tut!!! I'll see if I can do a basic granny squares tutorial soon for those of you who are new to crochet and looking for a good beginners project to learn with. After the Circles Scarf pattern though :o)
xx
This is so beautiful Lucy! I´m also with a lot of projects in my head, but not with the time to achieve them: Crochet is so addictive!!! OMG!

Hi Lucy,
I stumbled across your site recently. I'm absolutely loving your creations - do you sell them anywhere? I'm just asking because I know that as soon as I show my wife your blog, it's the first thing she'll ask....
Keep up the fantastic work!

I am in love with your creations... after reading your blog I started a granny square blanket; I learned when I was a child but I have not been crocheting since then...so I would love a basic multicolor granny square from you I would like to learn how yo hide and change yarn neatly for example.... Thank you

You make such yummy-lovely things, Lucy. It cheers me up to visit your blog and see all the pretty things you make and do. Thank you!

Do you put a layer of fabric under the crocheted design as well? I noticed it's light blue through all the holes. I'd be tempted to make a lovely bright cushion like this if I had a nice couch to put it on.

What a happy, cuddly cushion. I do like the all the back detailing - including the way you've alternated the direction of the knit. Gorgeous crochet too, of course!

Dear Lucy:
Another wonderful project created by you! It is perfect.Would you tell me what you line the front of the cushion with. I can see blue through the little squares. Is that the color of the cushion itself?
