Dear Lucy (great name!),
It sounds as though you are having a fantastic holiday and I hope that you enjoy the next week too!
I am a relative newcomer to blogland and have recently discovered your beautiful blog. The stories are inspirational and you right in such a friendly and engaging way. I wish I could crochet like you do!
Would it be alright it I included a link to you on my side bar in my "Most beautiful blogs" section?

I look forward to hearing from you and reading much more!

The best place in the world to be! And the best stretch of road in the whole of the UK is that between Abbotsbury and Bridport!!

The area that you went to is one which I know well. I lived in Dorset for 3 years and loved it (eventually) at first I didn't as I had just moved from France and found it too much of a culture shock! I now live about 1h20 from there and enjoy going back from time to time. I can understand what it is that you like about the place.
Enjoy Northumberland!

You must enjoy the summer fun while you can because there will be plenty of time for photo mosaics etc in the autumn.

Looks like you had a great time! I think my family needs to go to the beach this year. But we always wait until after the prime season. Less people, less sun...

Have another great week!

BeBe

That sounds like a wonderful time! I just sent my only chick off to college and am wishing she was still small and we were taking long family holidays. Enjoy yourself and I will miss you while you are gone. BeBe in Very Very Sunny Florida

Looks like an amazing holiday! And the colours in your photos - inspiring!

Steph

Oh thanks for popping by to say hello Lucy when you're so pushed for time, its always really lovley to hear from you. Thanks for your ever so nice comments - if only my life was so pretty! I'm handy with the old cropping tool on images is all I'll say (2 boys = tons of mess!! You can't see my filthy windows, toy strewn rooms and unhoovered for weeks carpets - its just taken me an hour to clean our bedroom. Oh the shame!)

Have a smashing time in Northumbria. I long to go back to Dorset, spent many happy weeks around Dorchester and Weymouth as a child. We bought a caravan a few weeks back so hope to get down and visit Bridport one day soon. Love your tradition of watching the close of day on the beach. Wonderful idea and what fabulous memories you're making. Take care
