About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

The desire to crochet always comes to me around September, but looking at your beautiful colors make me want to crocher all year. Your work is absolutely beautiful.

OH NO !!!!! I really hate it when that happens. Lucy I have a question for you, please could you tell me what method you used to join the squares together as the look so neat.

Oh no - don't you hate it when that happens? I ran out of yarn with only two scallops to go on the second of a pair of wrist warmers that were intended for a gift last Christmas. Argh! Hope you manage to get some extra yarn soon -- can't wait to see the finished thing!

Alessandra

that happens way too often with me...
Have a wonderful weekend!

That is so annoying, I know exactly how you feel. It happens to me often but the problem I often have is that the shop doesn't have any of the colour left that I need.

Greetings from beautiful northeastern Pennsylvania USA...Dear sweet Lucy...I know just how you feel...we've all had the experience. You are happily crocheting along, take a peek at the remaining yarn, and the tension begins. Will I have enough to finish?? The ball of yarn gets smaller and smaller and then we realize we're not going to have enough to finish...just a teeny bit left to go. I do hope your LYS has the color you need...Emily V.

Oh no Lucy that's just not cricket! I hope you manage to get a replacement toot smart.
