Hello!

About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Lucy, do you realize what an amazing beautiful place you live? Your photos take my breath away. A place I could only dream of.

Beautiful photos, and like The Antidote, I'd love to be able to do these photo mosaics too!! Maybe you'd give us a tutorial???

lulu

I hope everything is OK. We miss you.

Lovely pix, just the thing to cheer me as we have had nothing but rain, rain, and more rain. I love the one with the stone fence. There is something about stone fences meandering through rolling green hills that puts me in my happy place. Thanks for sharing!
hugs,

noelle

ooh Lucy, you've dissapeared again ! Have you gone back on your jolly's, i wouldn't blame you :) hope you are well. x xnoelle x

Welcome back Lucy! Gorgeous pics of sunny Yorkshire - I do miss the Dales. Looking forward to seeing some more holiday pics later.

I have been thinking of you alot recently (and telling anyone who would listen) as I have been 'hooking' away on a crochet bag. I made it for my friends birthday and was soooo tempted to keep it for myself. I loved the whole process of it. It has been much admired in various stages of production and I have had a few subtle hints dropped for repeats. How do I get to send you a pic of it, I would love for you to see the finished item?

Jane

Hiya Lucy, Hope all's ok, loking forward to your next post, love, sunshine and rainbows Jane xx

These past two months I've been enjoying your bright blue skies while here in Missouri we are in a rainy period with days with no sun and quite a lot of rain.
We don't mind the weather because we know before long we'll be weeks without the benefit of rain. Or, at least not very much rain.
I'm working on crocheting a cover for a round pillow form that I think will look great with a nice edge - so I'll be using the edge from your Crocheted Bag. I'll blog it once it is finished.
Don't forget the SPF when out in the sun :)
