About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Lucy, yhanks for your cheerful blog and shiny photos! Your mosaics are great, like them so much!

Somebody has already mentioned a calendar .... what a great idea. Give it some thought? Thanks for adding colour to life. Hugs to the little lady, hope she is better soon.

Yum, January is my favorite mosiac, those cupcakes looks delicous. Making me hungry ...

Thankyou for some lovely eye candy and hope little lady is feeling better soon? How do you go about doing the mosaics is it a Flickr tool?
Louise x

Sono foto meravigliose, si potrebbe farci un calendario...............

your colours are so wonderful !! I decided the monthly pics were a great idea so have done one for last month on my blog. Not quite as colourful as yours perhaps but it's a nice reminder of the month and less effort than 365 which I gave up as it was becoming a chore.

What lovely bright cheerful pictures, they are a delight. Tell Little Lady to cheer up and I'm sure she'll have lots of huggles (that's what we call cuddles)

I love looking at your monthly mosaics, they are so cheerful and the central photograph of your view from the attic is lovely to see how it changes through the year. You know what - I think you should produce these as a calendar and sell them on Etsy, just a thought. : ) Happy Friday!

Just the post to cheer up this stormy Friday in mid-Missouri. LOVE YOUR COLOR ! !.
Our Quiltin' Chicks Social met last night - my Lucy-Style Crocheted Bag was a hit ! ! !
Several of the Chicks took your URL and will be visiting soon.
Well, it's on to my next Lucy-Style project ! ! !
Thanks for every one of your posts.

The Antidote

Just read some of your other comments. You got my vote too on Dorset Cereal Awards x

The Antidote

What a colourful riot!
You really need to make these into a calendar, I bet you would sell loads x

The Curious Cat

What a brilliant idea - I love it! How creative! xxx

lovely pictures - those flowery cupcakes from January look divine - am going to have to track back and find out what they were all about.

Hope Little Lady is feeling better and that you all have a wonderful weekend. x

As cheery as ever, thank you. Have nominated you for dorset cereal(dorsetcereals.co.uk) blog award, hope you don't mind. Not sure what cereals and crochet have to do with each other, but felt you were way above the blogs already nominated.
Hope little person gets better soon.

Lovely pictures as always Lucy. Thanks for a colorful start to my early morning

Happy snuggling ; )
Thanks for the eye candy and have a nice weekend.

I love your photos. They are always so bright, happy, and full of color! :)

Hi Lucy
Love the mosaics, great eye candy! I just read your comment on Lavenderhouse about the time/energy needed to blog and others comments about the slow down in blog output generally. It is time consuming and we ladies try to multi-task which is like juggling a million balls in the air isn't it but I just wanted to say that it's OK with me if you don't blog so much, I mean I love your blog, goes without saying obviously, but you have such a following and your posts are so full I wonder if it makes you feel pressured sometimes so I just wanted to say that I hope you give yourself some time off occasionally too! Big hug to you and little lady! Love Salxx ps: Got Elspeth's book today - will post about it on Monday!!!

Hi Lucy

I hope Little Lady feels better soon!

Lovely pictures, as always.

Have a great weekend! xx

Lovely, everything lovely.

YOu know what I like best? The colors and the simplicity of the pictures. Everything is made of 'life', the same old and simple life people ignore sometimes. You made me want to learn to crochet. I've had my first lesson this week. I'm horrible at crochet by now, but as soon as I'm able to crochet a flower, I'll post it in my blog and refer it to you.

Have a nice day, and keep smiling..
