Hello!
Just to let you know that I'm taking a weeny blog break this week as we are officially Jollying.
Can you guess from my souvenirs where I spent the day yesterday???
It was a mighty fine jolly indeed, short and sweet, but mighty fine.
We'll be in our own beds tonight, but heading off again tomorrow, hosteling for a few days in the Lake District.
See you Monday, have a wonderful week whatever you get up to

Errrm, my money is on Belgium as well. Oh, and you lucky girl, off to the Lake District! We have spent many happy holidays there when the boys were younger. Fingers crossed for some good weather for you. You ARE taking your hook and some wools with you, aren't you? Would love to see a pic of you on the very top of a hill, merrily crocheting away....

My first though was Amsterdam. I got some of those magnets, including the Beer one, when I was there too.
However, the chips and frites and waffles made me think of Belgium. Brussels?

Hi Lucy - Enjoy the Lake District - I'm afraid it's not very nice weather here in Cumbria today!! Though set to get better I believe.
As for your little houses - are they from Amsterdam? I had a lovely break there myself a couple of years ago, and they look familiar.

Enjoy the rest of your Jolly Holiday

Oh, I think you went to the Country that Hubbie and I dream of living in one day soon. It's our favourite Country. Need to look out for some of those little houses of my own when we're there again in July. Enjoy your jolly week.

Hi Lucy! I've been following your blog for a little while now, but never commented before. I really like your blog, the way you write and your crochet 'projects'.
About the souvenirs: I'm thinking about Belgium.
Keep on the good work with your blog!

Happy Jollying Lucy!
Enjoy the gorgeous Lakes - if near Keswick - try the Pencil Museum - free Pencil on entry and a quiz for Little People (with potential prize!) and there is the most delightful shop called Temporary Measure (74 Main Street) between the Pencil Museum and a tea shop selling altogether scrumptious cakes.
