About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

That's absolutly priceless....I can't wait til my daughter goes to school and brings back her drawings, poems and such....

That is one of the cutest things I have ever heard! You have wonderful children. :)

Also, I adore your blog! It inspired me to get back to crochet. I'm working on an afghan again!

I should always remember to have a box of tissues handy when I am reading your posts. Sometimes like today I cry at the sheer beauty and tenderness, othertimes the tears come because I am laughing so much :o)
This is such a lovely post, as is the delightfully pretty one below. Yet again we are so alike, I have a tin filled with little Spring flowers, eggs and decs. only my tin has swans on it (the closet I could get to eastery). I have blossom branches too - our annual tradition, filled with chicks and eggs. I have a seasonal tree going all the time, since my children were little. Even though they have groen and most of them have flown the nest, I sill keep it going. I guess this is because I just love to play.
Hope you and yours have a wonderful Easter xxxxxx

Applause, applause for that beautiful poem!

Is this not by the same creative fellow who made the circus performers via collage?

Mom may also take a bow! xo

What a lovely poem that you little man wrote - you are very rightfully allowed to be one proud mama. :)

Have a wonderful Easter with your family!
