Wow love the chair and what you have planned for it it's going to look fab. I can relate to the cutting out of many butterflies I've just volunteered myself for craft lady at the weekly playgroup |I so to so Mon nights are spent preparing it all very satisfying seeing their proud faces don't you think!

I think everyone has already said what I wanted to say. But I'll say it anyway. The new WIP is stunning! I am so looking forward to joining you in part two of your blogiversary celebration tomorow, and please dear Lucy look after yourself. hope you have a lovely relaxing, healing, reviving weekend xxx

hello, I have been reading since August when I stumbled into Attic 24. I check in every day, more or less, and it has brightened my life. I taught myself crochet but in the yarn shop fell for some sock wool - my granny used to knit socks - I am now addictied to knitting them. I have a busy job and I enjoy the homeliness of reading your blog - it grounds and centres me after some lairy days at the chalk face! Have you read Simple Abundance? your blog reminds me of that at times. Liz

Hello Lucy, just wanted to pop in and say that your beautiful butterflies idea has been in my head all week. I think it's the most wonderful idea and if I was a mum with children at at your school I'd be over the moon to receive a PPP and a butterfly. Clever you.

I love the new WIP (I'm struggling wildly to grasp the art of crochet!) Your first few squares look perfectly at home on the beautiful chair. Looking forward to seeing it in all its revamped glory.

Hope you have a lovely relaxing weekend, you do deserve it - what do they say? If you want something done - ask a busy person!

Take care, Stephx

Lucy I think you should be available on prescription, your blog is the best sort of colour therapy. Your creativity and your chirpy outlook are infectious, uplifting and give me so much pleasure. Lucy xx

Wow...thankyou... will try and see if I can manage this... thanks for the tip!! :o)

Another happy, colourful post, Lucy. Makes my day a happy day.
Love the chair and it will look great with your colourful summer garden squares on it.
Hope you get some quiet time at the weekend, just for you!!
Will be back to see you tomorrow, to see who the very lucky winner is!!

Beautiful summer garden squares. I love all of the bright colors. Wondering how you keep up with everything and still have time for these gorgeous blog posts :-)

Every evening after a full day at work I look forward to reading your blog and wishing I had the time to do everything you do. Your enthusiasm has made me order a crochet book!! Your photographs enhance all your hard work, keep up the good work.

am inspired by your blog to start learning to crochet and am hoping for some lessons soon as have tried via a book, but some one to one tuition much needed! i just love the flowers and especially want to make a ripple blanket!

The Coffee Lady

it must be hard being you and being tired, and not being able to decide which beautiful cushion or throw to use for a nap...

OHHHHH....very pretty indeed! Lovely flowers and lovely ripples. I like your chair too. There you go again sounding like Lotty Wilkins (I love that character so much)in 'The Enchanted April' when she sees things so clearly in her mind's eye that they actually happen. Did you see the movie yet, Lucy? Just think...the weekend is close at hand and you can get yourself some much deserved rest! I will stop by to visit tomorrow (where else would I be) to see who the lucky winner is! Meanwhile....have a cozy evening.

Where do you get your energy from ?? You amaze me

Beautiful!!! Fantastic colors!Congratulations!

Hi Lucy
How I love reading your blog - it cheers me up every day after a hard day at work. I feel like I've made a new friend even though we've never met.

Sue xx

What can I say except thank you once again Lucy!

How fantastic - a brilliant way of connecting grannies. Lucy you are a crochetig whiz and I'm learning so much.

The chair is lovely Lucy. I love duck egg blue I find it such a peaceful colour. I hope you are making some extra buns for home consumption!

Nicola xx

The colors you use are amazing. I wish I could combine color that freely. I second the request for a ripple tutorial, maybe when your life has calmed down a bit.

I just adore popping in here every morning - no matter how gray it might be outside, I can always count on brightness here. The chair will be splendent, of that there is no doubt. Have a lovely rest this weekend.

Love the chair, Luce. The seat definitely needs your colourful touch. Look forward to seeing it all glammed up.
