  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. Beautiful, you're so lucky to find a posy brooch as they're quite hard to come by especially in charity shops and are often sadly chipped. Can't help on the age of them I'm afraid.

I like the teeny forget-me-not in the brooch. The brooch reminds me of a Victorian Posy. I am looking forward to seeing your fabric birds with stripy legs and orange bead feet! I am also looking forward to seeing you reveal your next woolly project.

A bargain! The brooch reminds me so much of my childhood. My grandad was collector of Aynsley china and my mum had a couple of similar brooches. I loved your yarn post yesterday... I had to go into House of Fraser today to look at all the beautiful Rowan Pure Wool colours in real life!
