  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I love your cheery sun! I always have grand plans for the solstice, and sometimes they actually work out...but most of the time there's so much other stuff going on (caroling, rehearsing, etc.) that it gets pre-empted. This year it was just me and a bunch of candles, but that was okay -- a few moments of quiet meditation are always a good thing!

Happy Winter Solstice yesterday, Lucy. You did good. I bet your home smells lovely. Our weather is horrid. Wind chills...and the temperature is only 2 degrees. No way am I leaving my home today. Just looking at your pretty little fireplace makes me feel warm and cozy inside. Have a lovely day.
