So...we are out the other side, we made it! Haha woohoo!!!
Quietly, to myself, when no one else is listening, I am sighing with relief.
Phew.
It's been at times hectic, chaotic, stressful and downright rushed.
Yet mostly it's been joyful, peaceful, fun, happy and wonderful.
I am coming down with a cold.
I have never known a Christmas tree to shed so many pine needles..
I LOVE my new pyjamas and fluffy socks.
Ditto drinking Bucks Fizz whilst wearing new pyjamas and fluffy socks.
I am looking forward to beginning a New Year.
I am not looking forward to cleaning up pine needles.
I am wearing a beautiful handmade bracelet today.
I am also wearing my favourite baggy linen trousers.
Which damn-and-blast-it are not feeling as baggy as they should.
Actually, they are waaaaaaay too tight.
I shall be commencing a diet shortly.
Soonish.
Mamma Mia (the film) is playing on the TV.
Again.
We've watched it oooo maybe 37.5 times?
Probably more.
I would dearly love to go to Greece again.
When my trousers fit me again.

Glad you all had a great Christmas - and how lovely to see all your bright colours!! And a big thank you for your crochet inspiration...my friend, an addicted knitter, has just gone out and bought lots of colours to crochet your basket - her first crochet since she was a child!!

Hi Lucy! How lovely to hear from you. I am glad you had a wonderful Christmas. I am having mine tomorrow as my Mum cancelled due to my Dad being in ill health. I hope your cold gets better soon. I am looking forward to catching up with your blog in the new year and seeing all the lovely things you create. If I don't drop by before then I wish you a happy new year full of lots of wonderful things and opportunities. x

get better soon - the vit C in the bucks fizz should help. I lost a bit of weight being ill just before Christmas, so I can just get my jeans on today, otherwise there would have been NO hope! keep snuggled up warm under those lovely blankets till you are better, let someone else do the hoovering!

Hi Lucy, I've been indulging in far too much bucks fizz over the Xmas break, it feels like you're actually having something healthy- I came down with the dreaded cold on Xmas eve, so what with all the vitamin C, the bucks fizz is positively medicinal! Crocheted a cafetiere cosy from my new Vintage Crochet book last night. In bed at cottage under piles of eiderdowns at the mo'-bliss! Hen x
