Me and my bag...don't we look jaunty? Colourful and homespun? Happy for the day ahead?
Yeah, too right, it's Thursday and I'm just off out the door in ten minutes to walk up into town to my favourite cafe for a couple hours cappuccino-drinking-hexagon-hooking-natty-nattering. Have I told you before how much of a buzz I get waking up knowing it's Thursday? Yes, I suppose I have told you on numerous occasions, I suppose by now you are getting to know me and my life quite well eh?
I spent a humungous amount of time yesterday sat at the pc, typing and crocheting and counting and puzzling and photographing this delicious bag of mine, writing out the how-to for it. I've just proof-read it and I think it's all correct and makes sense :: so for those of you who wish to give it a whirl, the pattern/tutorial can be found over to the left there, down at the bottom listed as a page. I could not get to the flowers, I was sooooo tired by the end of it I couldn't do any more, so the how-to for the little flowers and leaves will follow next week.
And to those of you who do not crochet, please forgive the extreme crochet-ness of my blog this week, something un-hooky will come tomorrow.
Right, I am late for Knit and Natter, dashing out the door now, byeeee, toodle-oo, see you all tomorrow

THANK YOU. Ich mache croche immer.
Die Blusse. Sind wunderbar. Pretty.
ich werde das machen.

I sooo wish I could have given you a ticket but they are not valid for the Saturday (don't know why?) - your blog is sooo inspiring and gorgeous! I am determined to learn to crochet - it is my 2009 resolution! Kathyx

That's fantastic of you to do that - I know that must have taken a long time. I'm planning to try and make one, once I've finished my crochet blanket! I love the picture of you pre dashing out.

Despite not being able to crochet I love the amount of crochet talk this week. Just admiring all your crochet is nearly as good as being able to crochet myself. Well, nearly. It's making me want to crochet anyway. Hope you enjoyed your Thursday crochet session.

Hi Lucy.
I was talking about you at my crochet class on Tuesday as I took my jampot cover in. I managed to get photos of your hexagons and the bag up on my iphone and we are gagging to have a go!
You're a crochet star! Hope you enjoyed your day. Wish I was not miles away so I could join in.

I want to come to Knit and Natter too! I really do! I have quite a bit of leftover yarn from my ripple blankets so maybe I will try making your bag. I really love the homey and cozy look. Thank you for sharing your pattern, Lucy. And may I say, you look very cute today in your outfit.

Oh thanks so much for the pattern! I really need a bag for wagging around my knitting and crochet and haven't been able to find any I like, so I'm making one like yours asap.

Hope you enjoyed your knit and natter. Whilst you were there I was at my art class, painting and drinking coffee and I also get a buzz out of Thursday mornings for the same reason! I really like the bag. I think I may tackle this rather than the hexagons. I hate joining things together!!!
