Hello!

About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

I hope you are enjoying your time away with J and the kids. I too thought you were leaving the blog when I read the title and was very delighted to read that you were just going on hols. I may not have time to pop in everyday but do so love having a couple of days of Attic24 to catch up on!

Make sure you have the crab soup in the pub in Craster, it's delicious.

I live in Northumberland and am so glad to hear you like it.

Hope you are having a wonderful relaxing vacation with J. and the Little People. Your attic view is so beautiful day or night....a wonderful place for calming serene thoughts. I miss you.

Just found your blog and am delighted to have done so - as a Yorkshire lass who's been away for 17 years reading your back postings has fed my little home-sick spot somewhat. I lived in Strid Woods for 5 years and then married DH at Bolton Priory but never knew of the existence of the Money Tree. However as he loves trains Buffers is a must-do when we come home for a visit. I shall add you to my favourites and call by often when I need a Yorkshire fix from deepest Somerset. Have a great break - hope the weather is nicer than we had in Dorset earlier this month!

Hi Luce,
Hope you all have a fabulous holiday - we went to Craster a few years ago and bought kippers for our tea!
We'll catch up when you get back,

You make England sound just like Jane Austen or tha Bronte sisters or Enid Blyton do. I am sooo envious of the serenity you impart. Cherrie
