Ahh blue summer sky, warm summer sun and white fluffy clouds how glad I am to see you!! Its been so long since we had a warm, dry, sunny day to greet us and it's beautiful today here in Yorkshire, truly beautiful.
So today on this sunny Monday, as promised it's the day for the Blog Candy Giveaway draw.
I bought these pretty bags at the weekend and have begun to fill them with pretty little things, delightful little things, useful little things, yummy little things and smelly little things (in the nicest possible way). I am quite charmed by the bags themselves which are fabric washbags, aren't they just so pretty?
I have to say a Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge big thank you to all of you who were kind enough to play along with the BCG :: during the past week there appeared a total of 50 names, which has rocked my little world up here in the Attic! So many of you de-lurked and introduced yourselves, it was marvelous and so nice to "meet" you all. Thank you.
Me and Little Lady performed the draw earlier this morning. Forty eight names were typed out on weeny slips of paper and thrown into the stripy hat-bag. Little Lady carefully selected bracelets to wear, then Little Fingers performed a thorough shuffle.........
.......Little fingers plucked an itty-bitty of folded paper out......
.......Little Fingers carefully unfolded........
.......and Little Fingers revealed a name......
I feel bad there can only be three winners, but thats the way these things go I'm afraid.
The first two early birds to leave comments last Monday were
Kathy from My life and other beads
and Barbara.
And the third winner picked today is of course Julia from Vintage Heaven.
C o n g r a t u l a t i o n s :o)
I'll drop you a line and we can get Blog Candy on it's way to you just as soon as I've made the hand-made element of the contents. Which may well be a week or two. Or even three. You know me, I do so love to dawdle.
Lucky girls, congratulations to all three. The blog candy is truly sweet. They are going to be so excited to receive their treats. x

Hi again Lucy,
I tried to email you my address a couple of times but there's a problem with your email address from this end, don't know why. I'll try again later when my babes are tucked up in bed.

Just discovered your beautiful blog so thought I'd say hi. Actually wondering how come I've only just found it, especially since you already have a link to my old blog 'Nonnie' in your side bar. I've just spent a very pleasant half hour or so browsing back through your archives and feeling a little nostalgic for north Yorkshire(I grew up in east Yorkshire and spent many days out in the dales). Will definitely be popping by regularly and adding you to my favourites list on my blog. Fiona(Nonnie)

The weather looks gorgeous where you are - it's not quite as sunny here in Manchester but it's still a lovely day! Thanks for holding the giveaway on your blog - even though I didn't win it was still exciting to take part! :)

I am sad that I wasn't a winner but happy for those that were! That hat-bag is looking good. I especially like the colour of the lime green stripe. I think I may take up crochet again. It seems there is so much more choice of wool nowadays compared to when I crocheted with insipid double ply scratchy acrylic!!!
