About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Just made this for dinner and write to thank you for sharing the recipe. You have cured me of a life-long phobia of puff-pastry!
Your blog is a delight, very well done ... I hope your holidays are marvellous

With two boys in the house fart jokes are always the order of the day. When Nick was 7 or 8 he would almost burst with laughter whenever the word "bottom" was used. "Put that in your bottom draw" always caused sniggers from all corners. Sex is the new word, he now blushes and sais "Mum!!!" whenever it's heard.

The pizzas look wonderful, don't you just love puff pastry.

... and there was me thinking you had made that puff pastry from scratch! I love anything like this with melty cheese, those cherry tomatoes must have tasted so sweet. Top marks to the chef! x

Brierley & Clover

Oh yum! This will definitely be on the menu over the weekend at the B&C household. I love your blog and am so pleased I found it!

this looks and sounds divine! I have been addicted to cherry tomatoes lately. . . I eat them like they're candy!

what a great way to use up those surplus chery tomatoes.

Hmm, cafe style food, perhaps?x

Ohh cool, another veggie recipe! I'm always after different veggie ideas as a friend of mine who comes round regularly is a veggie and this sounds like an easy recipe! Mmmm!

Those tomatoes look fab.
Just found your blog. What gorgeous pictures, I love the colours.

Tarts sounds like...... always gets a lugh with my little people. Been roasting beets here soooo yummy and sweet, do you wear gloves like me? Normal colour hands hooray.

That's friday nights dinner sorted then! I am really enjoying these recipes. I have made and enjoyed your Banana Bread recipe and the fritata made with pasta instead of potatoes. These will become regular meals for my family. Thanks Lucy!

This sounds gorgeous! I think I know what we're having for tea on Saturday (no time to cook properly before then!!!)...

That sounds yummy! it may find itself on the wild oats menu! have a fab time down south! wish I could have a paddle in the sea!!

Hi Lucy, I am sooooo hungry and before I stop for lunch I took a quick peep on to your blog...and now I am soooooooooooooooo hungry! Looks like a good one and certainly another one for me to copy! I adore Mary Berry and she has a fab recipe with puff pastry (isn't it great) whereby you spread it with pesto, then chuck on roasted veg and mozarella/goats cheese/cheddar and then cherry tomatos. It is truly delicious and a firm favourite in our household. I am hoping to do my tag today, so do take a peep at my blog. Best wishes, kathyx

yummy, i think i must try this.BUM AND WILLY are silly rude words in our family, as you do i chuckle whilst typing them, hehe
